This idiots argument aside, I have never understood pro-lifers that have "exceptions".

If you honestly believe that abortion is the murdering of an innocent child how can there ever be an exception that makes murdering an innocent child ok? I understand that rape is a horrible thing and having to birth the child or your rapist is insult to injury but since when does that justify killing an innocent person as you believe abortion is?

Frankly, he is much more consistent than the majority of pro-lifers. I might not agree with his stance but he gets a few points from me for being consistent.

As I said, if you believe abortion is actually murder of an innocent person why would you make exceptions in which what you believe is the murder or an innocent person is "ok"?

Truthfully, being anti-abortion isn't about the life of the child, its about punishing promiscuous women. This is why women who were raped get a pass on abortions. They weren't doing something that is wrong, so they shouldn't have to face the punishment.

This is also why the anti-abortion advocates oppose any sort of sex education other then abstinence, especially when studies show again and again the best way to lower abortions is to teach people how to use condoms and birth control.

The GOP has a long history of claiming that rape doesn't cause pregnancy, and the corollary is that if you are raped and get pregnant, the GOP seems to think that you must not actually have been raped, (AKA "asking for it", "whore", "her fault", etc,etc, etc)

So to them, you weren't really raped if you get pregnant from rape.

There is an argument from self-defense to be made in favor of aborting a pregnancy resulting from rape. If a woman did not consent to the act, she can legitimately claim she is not bound to the consequences, even if that means taking a life.

I'd consider a rape-victim who spares her child's life as a heroine. But I can't find it within myself to force it on them.

If we outlawed abortions except in cases of rape or other type of non-consent, we'd be a far more humane society.

3.) Yes they do. They are free to marry anyone of the opposite sex

4.) Women are not paid the less for the exact same job. The 77cents statistics that liberals so widely quote fails to take into account the job or experience. You are essentially alleging a conspiracy theory that has spanned for decades involving every corporation(including those RUN BY WOMEN) to pay men more for the same work.

And contraceptives are available at many fine retailers. What they want is to force men to purchase contraceptives for "independent" women they are not having sex with.

No, but it's quite obvious that a majority of those who are homophobic are Republicans specifically and socially conservative in general.

Of the two major parties, the Republicans are in the closet... and have to apologize for and hide their sexual orientation. They're the more homophobic party.
