I bought this game for $5 and no one is fucking playing! WHERE IS EVERYONE?!

Fuck I hate this shit... So many shitty servers too. No server browser functionality. (openserverbrowser is broken. It can't actually show games)
 
I got it a few months ago on a $5 deal, and it got old quick. I only enjoyed it for the multiplayer, and only for about 20 hours of gameplay. I didn't have too hard of a time finding a group when I bought it though. I started playing custom maps for a bit, but I think I only got another 5 or 6 hours out of that before I was bored.
 
lol I bought LFD2 and LFD when it was a deal together for cheap. PLayed them both for like an hour tops

I actually enjoy the game quite a bit in both Versus and another mode (can't remember the name of it right now, but you play as the Surivors with M16s and just run through blasting Infected) but I have not tried the single player at all.

Lots of douchebag players in this game though which can be really annoying.

I don't feel VS was ever balanced very well. I think leagues restrict you to vanilla weapons for this reason. Personally, I always felt scavenger mode was the most fun and competitive but everybody stopped playing that completely after about a month.
 
Nothing happen. I play normally Realism Versus with my team of two French Friends. Most of the time we get a good forth player. We only play for fun but it is always a blast!

Granted sometimes we have to wait a little while in the lobby but it is well worth it!
 
By the way, if anyone still plays and wants to add me, feel free to do so (KeithTalent). I hop on relatively often; be warned I am pretty mediocre, but I try hard and have lots of fun doing it.

I think exactly what was predicted to happen.
Making a sequel too soon split the player base, and eventually hardcore guys migrated back to the original.

I actually enjoyed playing it. That is until my teammates would intentionally screw everyone else by triggering boss/zombie swarm scripts way too early. :\

Yes but do you play Realism Versus? Most people don't. They just play normal Versus.
 
I keep hearing about this one mod call I Hate Mountains or something like that and its supposed to BE the reason to play L4D. Anyone else here about it/try it?
