So you agree that 5% in any election can swing it. And I'd argue that 5% of billions is actually a lot. Although probably not a lot to a successful magnate like Trump.

...

Are you really that dumb?

A 5% smaller rain drop is not a lot, there for you should vote for shoes.

Nope. Just pointing out that taking Donald Trump at his word is a really dumb thing to do.

I mean you know that he lies constantly, right? I'm starting to think you actually support this clown, which is hilarious if you do. I thought only Legendkiller was dumb enough to do that on here, haha.
If it came down to hillary or Trump, I'm voting Trump. There are other candidates I like better than hillary or trump but it's a seriously big question mark if they will ever beat hillary/Trump.

And I thought you were smart enough to separate liberal hatred of trump away from republican and independent popularity of him.

It will be amusing to see this play out.

In the end, I just hope trump doesn't win but results in the establishment finally putting forward a reasonable candidate.

He pretty obviously enjoys the attention from running for president. I sincerely doubt he legitimately wants to change this country if for no other reason than by his own platform and public statements he appears to have put almost no thought into how he would actually change this country.

This is EXACTLY how I've felt about him, really. I'll go as far as to say I don't think he actually thinks he can win. I personally believe that this is how he's planning a fun way to spend his time, seriously, I believe this.

I think he has no intention of actually winning. I just get that impression from him.

I genuinely cannot think of a single presidential candidate that has polled over 1% at any time that I would vote for Trump over. The combination of ignorance and narcissism is truly breathtaking to behold.

He's not just clueless, he appears to genuinely think that the answer to his ignorance isn't to learn more, but just to yell louder. When caught in one of his many lies his response is to attack the messenger rather than admit fault. I can't think of a worse quality for a president.

Eski we all know you'd never vote R...ever....you'd do some kind of write in first.

So instead of admitting fault in trayvon, clock boy, or any other numerous cases, Obama just went on the attack.

Same with hillary and "what difference does it make" or her emails. Or any number of false claims she has made.

It is smart tactics, the best defense is a good offense. Obama would rather apologize than lead.

Many Trump's supporters "believe he can't be bought". Trump's whole argument is that he should be President because he is good at making deals. He has spent the past 25-30 years trying to convince us how good he is at accumulating money. He seems to have very few principles or goals apart from the acquisition of wealth. Of all the candidates, he strikes me as the one most likely to be bought. Sure, maybe your run-of-the-mill lobbyists can't afford him, but as the saying goes, now we're just haggling over price. Getting rich is now considered a public service. Just think of the jobs he could create with a couple hundred billion in bribes and corruption.

So in your first sentence you talk about how Obama attacks people instead of apologizing and then in your last sentence you say he apologizes too much.

Does that seem logical to you?

That's what is amusing about this. Instead of admitting why people would like trump and addressing their claims intellectually and honestly and trying to empathize, he does exactly what he derided trump for. He bloviates, calls names, dismisses, constantly attacks and doesn't engage.

Who gives a fuck if some lefty acts like thst and doesn't like Trump. All he does is push more right leaning centrists who may agree with some trump policies towards trump by insulting them. "Ohh, some lefty thinks I am a low info voter, eh?"

It is the problem the right has right now. They are 100% disconnected from their base. They first tried to attack trump, then they tried to attack their own voters, now they are painted into a corner.

I have actually voted for Republicans on numerous occasions in my life, although not since 2008. (And I don't vote anymore now)

I know there's no way for you to know if that's true or not, but it is.

He doesn't apologize to the American people, at least not when it comes down to his social engineering goals. However he runs around and does it globally, leading from behind.

It's well known that he entered fully thinking he couldn't win. He initally only entered to get more face time for his new Chinese casino, according to sources. Then the ball got rolling and he realized he was really hitting a nerve that most other politicians were too scared to touch with a 10ft pole. The guy has balls, I'll give him that (which is saying more than 90% of "men" today in this country).

Yet, you are failing to see why this is a winning strategy. Read moonbeam's post.

I've repeatedly told you my problems with Trump. Outside of his obvious unsuitability from a knowledge and temperament standpoint, his policies that he has proposed are basically gibberish.

Go ahead. Try and explain how his tax plan makes sense. I dare you.

How is it not true that completely defined borders = more social cohesion in a country? This isn't the United States of MexiCanAmerica. If they want to get in, use the proper channels. More immigrants = less social cohesion = eroding willingness to work together. Immigration is controlled for a reason, left unfettered it can have dire consequences.

See what I mean?

His tax plan? It's definitely not revenue neutral, but it will force the government to make severe cuts while helping out the middle class and rich at the same time. I don't see a problem with it.

From Factcheck:
While the Tax Foundation analysis found that the tax cuts would lead to lower taxes for taxpayers at all levels of income, the biggest winners — in raw dollars and on a percentage basis — would be those in the top 10 percent of filers, particularly those in the top 1 percent. Still, Cole wrote in a blog post on Sept. 30 that the plan “also contains a very large middle-class tax cut.”

According to the Tax Foundation analysis, after-tax income would increase by 3 percent for those in the 30 percent to 40 percent decile, and 8.9 percent in the 80 percent to 90 percent decile (on a static basis). Those in the top decile would see an increase in after-tax income of 14.6 percent.

You make more, you get richer. It's not a hard concept to comprehend if you actually work. Time for the welfare net to be reduced.

But O-M-G I would actually have to work to get these benefits? lol

Thats just a temporary pop. By mid 2016 Bush will be the Front runner and Trump will just be a distant memory.

Bush is in his shelter waiting for this storm to blow out. The Establishment is working on a program to get Trump out of the picture and insure the sheep vote according to plan.

Clinton is locked in, The sheep on that side of the house were real easy to handle. They should just Nominate her right now and get this over with.

It's very odd that you would link an article that says Trump is lying about his tax plan and how his math doesn't add up to talk about how his tax plan makes sense. That's the opposite of making sense.

His tax plan as proposed is for all intents and purposes mathematically impossible. You guys might be okay with being lied to, but math doesn't care what he says.

I agree that he lies when he says it's revenue neutral, but the bottom line is that middle class and up will benefit which means myself and everyone I know. Who gives a dam if government will lose revenue? Let them sort it out by cutting unnecessary programs. It's about time they got knocked down a peg. I know, welfare-bleeding-heart-types will be unhappy but they have been sucking the teat way too long. If you want to make more money, then work, it's that easy - and then Trump's plan will reward you.

$12 trillion in tax cuts over a decade means about $1.2 trillion a year. Do you know how much discretionary spending the US had last year? A little less than $1.2 trillion. That means elimination of literally every government program but Social Security and Medicare. Military? Gone. Scientific research? Gone. Federal highways? Gone. Customs and border patrol? Gone.

Oops. Haha.

I imagine posts like yours are emblematic of what people like Trump are hoping for. If you don't bother to think about the costs, a tax cut sounds great. Once you actually sit down and think about it it's babbling nonsense.

Yup, I've been hearing this so long I'm claiming Trump to be the longest temporary pop in history. We're way past the date when it was predicted we'd hear, "Donald Who". Hehehehehe, it must be wonderful to dream.

Anything can happen, but please, you know no more than anyone else and that's nothing at all.

I agree, fellow demon - that he can be bought. But I disagree that it's not with money, but more like power. Note that there is some power that cannot be bought with money.
