Annnndd I was wrong. Series finale was amazing. Sure they had to make due with 40 minutes but they somehow made it work.

I watched the first episode and decided it was going to be too frustrating to watch (no answers and more questions to come).

I recorded the finale, but have not watched it yet. Glad it sounds like it might actually be worth watching.

The preview made it look like what you would expect from a normal season finale instead of a series ending like other shows that did get cancel ahead of time usually do so either they filmed them awhile ago or wanted to screw the viewers over. 🙁

Its because the episode was shot before they were canceled. They went back and re-shot part of the finale to wrap it up. When I was watching it, there was like 10 minutes left(with commericals) and I was like how are they going to wrap this up. Then bam, it wraps up very abruptly.

I can see why they only re-shot part of it. They didn't get paid to re-shoot. They did it to give closure to the show. They gave it closure, albeit very abruptly.

The show should have been a mini-series.

The series would have been great with another 1 or 2 hours to wrap it up. They had to wrap up the series prematurely, with very limited (40 minutes) time to do it. Even so, they did a pretty good job.

Overall, this was one of the better series on TV, but that's not saying much these days.
