Let's see...Hamas facilities are targets of these airstrikes...one would think that someone would avoid being anywhere near these places at any cost as the airstrikes continue but yet the 'civilian' count continues to rise. Mkes you wonder if these are actually civilians or Hamas soldiers dressed as civilians (not sure how you tell the difference though)...

i realize that there are probably not many places for these people to go, but if your life and the lives of your family at risk, any option has to better than risk being near the collateral damage of a Hamas target...

The population density in Gaza is 10,000 people per square mile. There is no where in Gaza to get away from Israeli bombs.

I would never encourage genocide against the Palestinian people, but I'd damn sure encourage Israel to forcefully evict and push all of them into Syria... I just can't believe they haven't done so already!

Seriously, let ALL of the Palestinians walk or drive to Syria with whatever they can carry. Escort them to the border and then close the f'n border. They'd find out soon enough just how much their Arab brethren care about their well-being... my guess is that Syria wouldn't even let them in.

So these civilians that elected their leaders don't have any problems with Hamas putting targets with military value next door to their homes?

Why don't they go the Syria or anywhere else not next to a Hamas target?? Like I said earlier, any option has to be better than wondering if a bomb will be dropped 20 feet away at any moment...

I don't see any of them protesting this...all I see/hear is about the devastation caused because they were so close to the destruction caused by the bombs that were targeting Hamas facilities...

These people have been fighting for sooo long.

I care about this only because the US is committed to Isreal (for god knows what reason) and that as long as there is a conflict, the US will be involved.

Otherwise, they can continue to blow each other up to their hearts content. This is one conflict that I honestly can say I no longer care about. Both sides are beyond stupid, why invest in their plight?

If the Palestinians in Gaza choose to not want to live under Israel control and are "committed" to the destruction of Israel, then why should Israel tolerate an enemy who is in a declared state of war to exist within an area that they control.
There is a difference between Syria, that is in a declared state of war, but not actively pursuing it vs. the Palestinians in Gaza that choose to wage war.

Yeah, really! If the F***ing isrealis want to be exclusive from the rest of the world because they think they are better than everyone else then build a huge wall around the country and invent a forcefield and stay in your retared bubble. They basically want that anyway. They are the biggest hypocrites in the world.

They did build a huge wall...

It stopped woman and children from being blown apart by Palestinian suicide bombers in the market and at school.

I know how hypocritical is must seem to not want there own citizens killed, they should take there own dead, mutilated and maimed and turn to the world and say "it's ok, we're just Israel we understand we deserve it"

yeah, just in time before Bush leaves the Whitehouse. Israel needs to deal with their own shit and I wish be had a government with enough BALLS to tell Isreal to go fuck itself and fund your own war. I wish the Usa would stop giving Isreal $$$. Let them deal on their own. If the rest if the Middle east takes em over, fuck it. The US should help the countries that NEED help, not the mideast and especially not Isreal. No one has wanted the jews in any country for over 5000 years. Ever wonder why? They outnumbered the Egyptians 10-1, why didnt the jews resist then? Oh, yeah, stupid religious bullshit. I have no pity for any society that lets a religion dictate your life. Religion is for fucking morons and sheep. Almost every single war fought has a religious root cause.

Send pamphlets to Isreal and the Gaza strip stating you have 3 days to leave. Then nuke isreal and the gaza strip. Let them all live on wide open glass. Or move to the VAST areas that are not inhabited, but just not next to each other.

So you hate the barbarism shown by them, but want to nuke them?

You are another useless sack of flesh.

The palestinians could have had peace in 2000. It was not a perfect solution by any means, but it would have been an historic deal and could have allowed for further concessions from a position of statehood. Despite Israel bending over backward, Arafat knew he'd be assassinated if he reached any agreement so he demurred to save his own ass. So then the people then democratically elected a Hamas gov't dedicated not to peace, but to destruction of their neighboring country. Israel wants peace, and if its enemy lowered all weapons, peace would be had. If Israel lowered all its weapons, Hamas (and Lebanon and Iran, etc) would be more than happy to end Israel's existence. This is why there is no peace. It can only be acheived when BOTH sides want it.

Were those alleged 400,000 who were displaced displaced as a result of their own aggression and attacks on the Jews? Were they attacking kibbutzs out of religious hatred, machismo, and a sense that the Israelis' productivity with otherwise worthless land was putting them to shame? Can we add some context here?
Didn't Jews once harbored terrrrrrarists, thus displaced them self during the WWs. It is shameful that Israel now are acting like Germany in the past.

It is true that the soil in Israel are now more productive than when it was in Arab hand, but money (from outside sources), education (due to accumulative wealth), and technological advance in the last 60 years must have something to do with the agriculture prowess of the land today. Not only that at the present Israel pretty much control all of the water in the region.

My best friend lived in the region for 8 years (his dad a French Canadian engineer that was posted there), tend to say that the Arabs are dirty and uneducated compare the Israel who work hard on the land. His dad indicated that the Israelis are the masters and Arabs are their slaves. He also mentioned that many Israelis home have swimming pool, while most Palestinians barely have enough water to live on (Palestinian can't even drill well to irrigate their farms unless their Israeli master approve of it).

?It is not fair, unless it is more fair to me than others? -- From my best friend dad.

Here is a "context" example:
IMHO, most Vietnamese in Vietnam are dirty, poor, uneducated, and aren't as hardworking as Westerner, however most Vietnamese immigrant are considered to be productive and tend to be educated given the same opportunities as North American.

I'm sure that Arabs are capable of achieving the same work ethic as Jews if Israelis & Palestinians work together.

Well put. If the world gave a tenth of much to poor Arab countries then they too can be prosperous as isreal. But the fact is we all side finacially for isreal because of political jew influences. It really sickens me.

Too bad your friend only saw the Palestinians and not the Israeli Arabs, who are richer than any of their counterparts in other Arab countries (other than, perhaps, UAE and the other oil phenomena of the Gulf).

They tend to take on more physical jobs, but no one really forces them too - and they mostly make very good living. You could see palaces, literally, in their villages. And while most Israelis live in apartments, most of them have real houses.

Palestinians are something else, and for a while now have not been able to legally work in Israel for fear of terrorists crossing the border.

Question to all the Palestinians self-appointed guardians though: If the attrocities of Israel are so bad and unjust, why don't you call for their one-sided surrender? Not a cease-fire, or negotiations from a point of equals. Just a unilateral surrender, a white flag over Gaza.

What do you think would happen there? I think Israel would immediately stop the attacks, the do-gooders of the world (UN, Tony Blair, etc) would jump on the photo opportunities and both sides will be dragged to the lawn of the White House for another agreements. So that Palestinian wouldn't get 100% of what they want, but it sure as hell beats what they are going through now, with the unrealistic concept of winning this conflict by force.

So? Save Palestinian lives, make them surrender.

True, that their is a different between Syria & Palestine in this situation. But, Syrians have the right to self determination under their own law, while Palestinians constantly are subject to be under Israelis suppression and watch their farms/homes burnt/stolen.

Plus Syrians get paid a wage wehter they have a job or not. Palestinians for the most part cant find work because the jobs a pretty much controlled by the jews. I hope that some rich Arabic nation would take all the Palestinians and all the Gaza residents, into their country and cut off all relations with isreal. I also wish the Arab oil countries would not sell oil to isreal. They'd go back to the stone-age overnight. but the US and other control-freak countries would stick their nose in were it doesnt belong, as usual.

Amended your text.

The ME has been fighting since before recorded history, and most likely will be fighting until one of the last two Arabs kill the other. Then there might be peace in the ME, but most likley the last Arab in the ME will get upset with themself and goto war against themself out of a lack of anybody else to fight with.

I'm tired of the ME having any say on a global scale. The sole reason we want peace there is to get their oil. There is no significance in the whole region outside of oil.

I'm all for letting them fight amongst themselves with now support from other nations. Let them figure out how to work together, and then offer them help. Until then, leave them be.

What a load of leftist bullshit. Tell me than, why isn't Africa a beacon of utopian civilisation with all the money sent to them. They still axe each other with hatchets and they have been given much more money.

Some civilizations and some people do not advance and are stuck.

As George Patton said;

It seems to me a certainty that the fatalistic teachings of Mohammed and the utter degradation of women are the outstanding causes for the arrested development of the Arab. He is exactly as he was around the year 700, while we have kept on developing."

Explain perfectly why your idea of 'shove money at them and they will go away" is a utter pathetic idea that has been tried for a century without success.
