People used to risk long prison sentences for crappy little cards showing breasts.

There's a huge market today for horrible semi-porn movies that show a lot of breasts and fake sex with angles to hide genitals. Condoms would not 'kill porn'.

Audience taste would largely adjust. And if they want unsafe sex, screw them.

If people started demanding that car races ban helmets and safety gear because people enjoy the excitement of more danger, should do they do that too?

How about demanding trapeze artists not have nets? Real bullets in action movies?

By the time someone in the porn industry is diagnosed they've been with a ton of people... and those people have been with other people. Etc...

They play the odds... external ejaculation reduces risk somewhat and I'm sure other factors come into play. But if you're going to have tons of unprotected sex with other people who have tons of unprotected sex... the end is a forgone conclusion.

Showing joy over news like this may indicate you really hate and/or are jealous of someone who has sex for a living, legally.

They know the risks. Yet, AIDS/HIV isn't rampant in the porn industry - so, these people really know how to police themselves.

So, they fuck with no protection, get paid and seem to really enjoy their jobs. When they run into a life threatening situation like potentially being exposed to an incurable and deadly disease, the OP smiles,... someone has issues with sex.

That overstates it, though - most performers will never get AIDS from years of no condoms. But even a handful getting it from a lack of condoms is too many.

Reminds me of a special on MTV in the 90's. Some porn queen got HIV after doing an anal gang bang movie.
