In this thread, normal people think the guy is terrible human being, while racists think what he said isn't a big deal.
So you're basically willing to label anyone "racist" and 'abnormal' who doesn't see your POV? I'm a content of character person, quite frankly.
Additionally you know enough about this man based on one unlawfully obtained tape to label him a terrible human? What laws did Sterling break? How do we know the NBA aren't trying to chase Sterling out of the league and paid to create this unlawful recording?
Ever heard of Howie Spira or Anthony Bosch? Both were cases where the Yankees illegally obtained evidence against David Winfield and Alex Rodriguez respectively in order to break their rather large contracts.
How about if someone (privately without your knowledge) were to record you doing something unlawful and then take it to your employer? Do you partake in illicit drugs, download illegal content, trap and kill animals who enter your property etc. ?
What I'm trying to determine is how Sterling's actions even directly affect any of us. Where's the 'skin' in this game for non-NBA fans?
Anyhow, Sterling will lawyer up and win any case against him. Though enjoy being entertained/distracted by the latest media firestorm.
