There is no place for racism in today's world. They need to kill him, immediately.
That is a bit extreme.

2006: U.S. Dept. of Justice sued Sterling for housing discrimination. Allegedly, he said, Black tenants smell and attract vermin.
2009: He reportedly paid $2.73 million in a Justice Dept. suit alleging he discriminated against blacks, Hispanics, and families with children in his rentals. (He also had to pay an additional nearly $5 million in attorneys fees and costs due to his counsels sometimes outrageous conduct.)
2009: Clippers executive (and one of the greatest NBA players in history) sued for employment discrimination based on age and race.
Im doing some whooping right now. Racists deserve to be paraded around the modern town square of the television screen so that the rest of us who believe in the American ideals of equality can be reminded that racism is still a disease that we havent yet licked.
What bothers me about this whole Donald Sterling affair isnt just his racism. Im bothered that everyone acts as if its a huge surprise. Now theres all this dramatic and very public rending of clothing about whether they should keep their expensive Clippers season tickets. Really? All this other stuff I listed above has been going on for years and this ridiculous conversation with his girlfriend is what puts you over the edge? Thats the smoking gun?
http://time.com/79590/donald-sterling-kareem-abdul-jabbar-racism/He was discriminating against black and Hispanic families for years, preventing them from getting housing. It was public record. We did nothing. Suddenly he says he doesnt want his girlfriend posing with Magic Johnson on Instagram and we bring out the torches and rope. Shouldnt we have all called for his resignation back then?
black racism ok.

Larry Johnson calls for an all black league. Outrage - non.
You have not the slightest inkling of what racism is. Sterling's comments were racism. The belief that another race is inferior to yours or that you are inherently superior to another race. Such that you shouldn't even be seen with them or it is ok to treat then as animals. Everything found in Sterling's comments.
Larry Johnson's views are a misguided effort to try to make up for what he beliefs is an inequality in society. That, unless black people control their own businesses they will never get a fair chance.
You and the Londo's on this board should just come out and admit what and who you are and stop all the pretense.
That is a bit extreme.
lol...
Larry Johnson is misguided sterling is a racist. I get it, only one group of people can be racist.

This is a stupid sentence.I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of the intolerance of intolerance, and the will of the thought police.
Different races aren't different species. Hey look here's two dogs of different races playing together:In other words: An old guy is racist, there are probably a few million of them in this country. Who cares? Do you want to know what else? 4 billion years of evolution has taught us that racism is a thing that protects our species. Lions hang out with Lions, Birds hang out with Birds, Monkeys hang out with Monkeys. Do we really expect this to disappear in a few generations? Maybe in a few million years racism will be gone, but not today. Diversity is strength? Name two strengths from diversity.
So Jewish people can't be white? You learn something new every day!
The NBA's job (besides operating a profitable league) is to ensure that owners don't discriminate in running the league, not that they have never discriminated.I've had a slight change of opinion on the Sterling thing. Sterling's shady past was more known then I suspected. Example his suit for housing discrimination resulted in the largest fine in that kind of case in history. The capper was an article penned by Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Here are some of the highlights. Worth the read.

All acts in this play are bad. There is a list of worst to not as worse. Here is my order.
1. Sterling
2. NBA
3. NAACP and Clippers sponsors
4. Girl
Seems #2,3 with not much work would have discovered his checkered past but money ruled the day. Now that the tapes are our 2,3 are running for the hills.
Finally there are the predictable few who in this forum will look to anything to excuse the racists. 2,3,4 by no means excuse #1. Sterling played the part of massa running his plantation with his ni**ers and house ni**ers. He treated people that way. He is the primary villain but there are other bad actors.
Lastly I placed the girl #4 not because she is less of a money grubber then the rest but Sterling, Bundy, Ted Nugent et-al need the light of day shined on them
So he's not only a bastard, he's a cheap bastard.I love it that he lavishes gifts on young women in exchange for sex and companionship. His wife then sues to get the gifts back. They have a history of doing this. How utterly fucking pathetic.
Rich people... gotta hate 'em.

Poor oppressed white men, only been running the world for the past several hundred years. Now people dare to say mean things if we hit our wives or openly, systematically discriminate against people because of their skin color! What do they want, for us to not beat our wives or systematically discriminate against people?!?Well, they never self identify as white when they do something good such as discovering new physics. I'm just point out it's strange how they're Jews when they accomplish something great or something bad is done to them but become white when they do something bad. I guess I'm Irish, unless I'm drunk and beating my wife, then I'm white.
Yeah but part of running a profitable league is keeping a squeaky-clean image, which makes it more appealing to watch (directly profitable) and reduces the threat of the government taking away its special exemptions from trust-busting laws or cause more citizen pushback against enormous giveaways to billionaires in the form of new stadiums (could really blow up the business model). The NBA's job (besides operating a profitable league) is to ensure that owners don't discriminate in running the league, not that they have never discriminated.
Those are good points. Perhaps the NBA should change its secret constitution to require a thorough background check prior to allowing a new owner access to the league, to avoid at least some future embarrassments.Yeah but part of running a profitable league is keeping a squeaky-clean image, which makes it more appealing to watch (directly profitable) and reduces the threat of the government taking away its special exemptions from trust-busting laws or cause more citizen pushback against enormous giveaways to billionaires in the form of new stadiums (could really blow up the business model).

I have no use for the girl because she's a gold digging whore, but unlike some here, her recording and shaming him in the inevitable break-up actually makes me like her more. She may earn her way to the good life lying on her back under a wrinkly old married bastard, but at least she's bright enough to get one over on him.
Dude I gotta give the woman her props. If you are going to whore yourself, at least go for the target with the deepest pockets. How many 10 dollar blow jobs does a street walker have to give to get the kind of money this woman did?
This woman deserves every cent she got. It must of been a kind of hell having sex with that decrepid old man.
And yes, I believe what she did was probably illegal wiretapping or some such.

I believe it would depend if it is a one party (only requires consent of one party) state or not.
Uh, yes, those squeaky clean NBA players (and NFL players). Not all of them are altar boys but any time they do anything that could embarrass the league they get smacked with fines. http://www.eskimo.com/~pbender/fines.htmloh yes all those squeek clean nba players.
