I read the article on the new Kyro 2 cars and it's bench tests are good! They beat the radeon! I just wanna know whether i should buy it or not, for that price, i cant see any other cards of interest.

I think it's a great card and it will have a very significant impact in the 3D gaming industry. I'm a little surprised at how underwhelming the responses toward it have been.

I have to agree with you on that one 100%. This 150$ card beats the GF2U,and therefore probably also the GF3, in several of the tests. And then people say: it only beats the GF2U in some tests. Excuse me!?!?! The GF2U is top of the line. Nothing is supposed to beat it, NOTHING. And now there is is strange little card that runs passed the GF2U on many occasions. And in the other tests it performs real well too. Who cares about the T&amp;L. The tests show it doesn't really need it.

I'm gung-ho for this card although Anandtech's bench marks were a lot better than some than I've seen. I really don't want to pay for a GeForce II Pro+

The Pro is 170$ .. I wonder if the Kyro II is reallya better card...? I think Ill wait a couple of weeks to see. It's coming out in 2 weeks. WooHoo!

Agreed 100% with BFG10K &amp; Saphoo i could not speak better my self. This is just an AWESOME videocard with an AWESOME price and help's a lot all gamers and normal people with an excelent upgrade without hawing to pay the 250-500$ .

Keeping in mind that it will drop rapidly in price as all video cards do, when it hits about $125 I'll take the plunge. I'm looking for a worthy substitue for a V5 5500, but there is the driver issue to worry about with a new player.

Hey i just remembered! PowerVr also made the graphics chip for the Sega Dreamcast! I think the chip's real good for the Dc, its very efficient.
I like hte Dc. therefore believe that the Kyro II 's gonna be cool!

I miht as well get one since i'm scared of Radeon BAD Win2k dirvers
Whatever, these guys are givin me a cheap and effective alternative to Nvidia whicha are freken expensive and deliver quite substantial quality.
Hey, if the card can run Quake 3 at a constant 75 fps on high settings and 800x600 resolution then it's good in my books.

It's a good card, If i was gonna get a card in it's price range, I'd get it. But I'm not getting a card in that price range so I'm nt getting it. (I'm too bummy right now, too cheap to get a good card at the moment)

Seems like a great card but you have to remember that you can find cards such as radeon 32ddr for under or around $100 on pricewatch... and i believe you can find geforce2gts around 150 as well...kyro2 hopefully will be under 100 on pricewatch...maybe then...?
