This really can't be emphasized enough, IMO.

Excellent post zin, and I applaud you for reminding people of what a conservative politician with a brain and morals looks like.

Poor guy, must be down there spinning at a rate near or equal to that of Murrows and Buckley. :(

And recall that at the time, despite the fact that the opposition generally hated Goldwater (his era's "worst of the worst" of conservatives, I suppose), it was Goldwater and 2 other GOPers that marched up to the White House, alone, on news of Nixon's command to tell the CIA to stand down, that is equivalent to today's Trump family meeting with Russians, and told Nixon that the party was shitcanning him.

Granted, it took them what, 2 years to get off their asses and do it, and they weren't even in power in Congress, but they still came around to "country before party."

An inability to handle a controversy created by her own hand and choosing to respond by committee rather than the tone and resolve of her own voice as a leader.

Her failure to communicate the nuances of her policy positions into a rationale for her candidacy.

Choosing to attack Trump on his character rather than stand on the merits of her own accomplishments.

Taking for granted a Democrat firewall that was splintering before her own eyes.

Which all comes right back around to the effects of decades of right wing agitprop. You just peddle the flip side created for libs- Crooked Hillary! What is she hiding? Weak! Establishment!! Wall St! Cheater!

Back to the OP:

If this were John Q Citizen, they'd already be charged. 4 counts. One for each iteration.

If this were China, Russia or Iran, this would probably have lead to a morgue vault some time ago. In Iran they'd get there on Day 2.

Can you imagine any of those countries putting up with American ties to this degree, with this amount of shady bullshit and lies coming up on a near daily basis? Blood would run.

The Russians didnt create Clinton's weaknesses, they exploited them. Rather than choose to understand why they were so effective, you choose to instead derp.

Russian officials are blaming Obama for the entire issue as well.

It's my bad though, I figured you would understand Russian, but maybe it's just a big coincidence that y'all are coming up with the same arguments?

Before reminiscing too much keep in mind Goldwater opposed the civil rights act.

Suggestion noted.

He was big on the 10th amendment, what can I say? Also a member of the NAACP and the Urban League, and supported the racial integration of the Arizona National Guard and public schools. Hardly a David Duke.

Whatever. It matters little considering what the party has become.

My bad as well. Your initial response indicated you were nothing more than a derpy troll, but it seems like you are capable of articulating a response after all. Maybe it's just a coincidence. You're ability to post in Russian certainly exceeds mine.

Accusations of Russian allegiance is a convenient deflection because it allows you to dismiss the very real possibility that the FBI investigation into Clinton's private server, and the Podesta email leaks, incapacitated or weakened Obama's ability to confront the underlying threat. Perhaps a miscalculation on Obama's part given the seeming inevitability of Clinton's victory. Perhaps Putin recognized this opening, hence the overt audacity of what continues to unfold.

You are welcome to disagree with that assertion and articulate why you think Obama handled the unfolding intelligence in a competent and assertive manner. There is enough credible evidence to demonstrate his administration had awareness into what was going on.

The truth will inevitably come out. It always does. I will not shed a tear if Trump burns when it happens. It seems you cannnot handle the prospect that this scandal, the most significant in modern times, might singe Obama's legacy as well.

Seems clear that he didn't exactly have the moral virtue to put millions of lives ahead of his personal hate for the feds.

You just can't help agreeing with fox and the russians that this is really about obama/clinton.

No, it's clearly about Trump. That doesn't mean Clinton and Obama are not part of the narrative. You know that all too well, but lack the intellectual integrity or honesty too acknowledge it.

It's not hard to see why your lot parrot what they do.
Out of fairness to others in the forum, I am no longer responded to you in this or any other thread. I have a challenge for you. Start your own thread to characterize the lot I allegedly belong too, and I will be happy to continue this conversation there.

I'm hardly pointing out what fox news parrots do to have some kind of conversation with them.

Oh I'm absolutely a derpy troll, please don't let one or two loosely coherent sentences lead you to believe otherwise.

But that is just a convenient deflection allowing us to dismiss the very real possibility that John McCain's poor choices in 2012 handed an unearned victory to a weak Barrack Obama thus emboldening Putin to take advantage of this opening, hence the overt audacity of what continues to unfold.

I thought this thread was about Jared Kushner & how he came to be where he is. That's what it says at the top of the page.

And it's not really germane to go about assigning blame to the losers. Trump won, and it's important to acknowledge that & understand how he did it. The population needs to be inoculated against it.

Or Libs can just chew on our own leg, as you suggest.

So you explain it. Lay it out, putting all the pieces together.

I was referring to you. Just as you rightly don't blame the naive for their folly, I can't either.

Only in this case they're not the naive ones. Trump types will naturally rise again so long as there's a practical benefit to pander to racists, or to elaborate, the cost for racism is lower than its gains.

I get on your case because you et al help keep that cost low.

You merely engage in a variant of race baiting & otherizing against white conservatives, painting them all as racists. It's the welfare queen argument from the other side.

All of which has zip to do with Kushner.

People who actively partner with sons of the confederacy to enact a mutually beneficial agenda. Oh those poor Real victims need your help. It's easy to see how you relate to them.

No, it's simply not in the interests of people determined to apologize for the southern strategy to accept the factual gravity of that political relationship, no matter how obvious.

You believe that avoiding upsetting the players would somehow endear them to you, and open them up to accept compromise on other matters. Past reality show the effectiveness of that strategy plainly.
