That may be, due to the CPU mfgs getting better at extracting maximum performance out of the CPU automagically, but at least AMD still has enough enthusiast heart and cred, to offer manual OC options, across their entire liineup of CPUs and APUs for the AM4 platform.In contrast, all Intel does, is Segment, Segment, Segment, and Disable CPU features,to extract the maximum "tax" from every enthusiast as well as user.Overclocking is disappearing for both AMD and Intel. You can't get much more out of a 2700X than it already does automatically.
As much as I dislike Intel's business practices, they did give us ATX, NUC, and mini-STX. AHCI and USB, too.
