Baw I’m not going to play the game. You get my arguement and you know which posts it’s for (hell I told you one of them in what you just quoted).

I don’t know what posts. If anything you are playing a game by insinuating things and refusing to back them up.

Don’t play passive-aggressive games. Say what you mean.

Do you ever actually debate anything around here? I mean, as opposed to just dropping some generalized opinion or statement of concern into a thread, then leaving?

If you had a problem with something that say, Zin said, you could have responded to Zin's posts. Why not? Atreus and Starbucks, both of whom probably share you view on this, had no trouble doing this. Is actually getting down to the nitty gritty and debating a point too much trouble for you?

Good luck with that. I'd imagine he's the kind of person who'd post something on his fb wall akin to "I can't believe this day..." and then expect you to drag information out of them. Fuck that.

I’ll debate the topic. I’m not gonna play gotcha's trying to pick apart people’s posts. So yeah I’ll give a general opinion, didn’t realize that was frowned upon. I believe I’ve made my point regarding Zin's post though, I don’t have much more to say on it.

You claimed posters in this thread were behaving in a certain way. It should be very easy for you to show examples of this.

You’re acting just like DSF.

So you said nothing to begin with so basically you had nothing and still have nothing.

I don't support politicians being stabbed but when you create this sort of toxic, divided political atmosphere what do you think is going to happen?
Last year we had a guy shoot up a GOP baseball team. This is not normal... there's a reason these things are happening.

Victim blaming is super classy. Saying that someone deserves it based on what their opinion is, is just pathetic. But if you don't align with the left, you're considered the enemy and you deserve anything you get. According to some people around here, and frankly all over the U.S.

Want immigration laws enforced? Well then you're a racist and deserve to get stabbed. Point out their hypocrisy and think for yourself? Well then you can be harassed while trying to peacefully eat and forced to leave. But this is far from the Dems first go at making people leave restaurants who they dont think deserve to be there. Plenty of history of that. The left has proven by increasing violence against those who don't believe the same as they do who the fascists really are.

"I am coming with a gun and i expect to get numerous bloodstained MAGA hats as trophies".

Totally justified by some people around here.

Totally justified to who on here, specifically?

No further questions. Just cynicism. Become a democrat or don't complain when people try to stab you. Brilliant.
Why does "stop being racist" have to mean "becoming a democrat"? Maybe that's what they should fix.

Either way though, nothing justifies unprovoked violence against elected officials. Idiot knife attacker probably just lost his chance to vote and actually do something constructive. I'm just glad it wasn't a gun--not sure the campaign sign would've helped then.

One important thing to remember though is that no one was actually attacked with a knife.

Meh, semantics. Just because you're a moron who can't deploy a switchblade doesn't negate the act of brandishing a weapon and threatening someone. I'd equate it to flashing the steel in your holster or pointing a gun at someone...still a threat.

You think the difference between trying to stab someone and not trying to stab someone is semantics? The man in question never actually tried to hurt someone with the knife as the thread title suggests.

There's something amazing about today's "conservatives."
They demand the rule of law while celebrating a President who insists he above the law.
They demand that the law and order be enforced by means that are in direct violation of the civil protections of the Constitution, the highest law of land.
They demand their rights to freedom of speech and religion by insisting that contrarian speech or differing religious opinion is a threat to freedom of speech and religion.
And to justify this, they classify the entire into them and everyone else. That whenever just one person who isn't them acts inappropriately, they can hold everyone else equally responsible, as though they all involved.
This folks, is what mob rule tyranny looks like. Brought to you by today's "conservatives." You are free to be and think and speak just like them. And that's it.

Since Trump proclaimed he could shoot someone on the street and his people wouldn't care,

why should we care about this??
I'll offer my response up for critique. I neither condoned or condemned the attack but asked a question in the context of the Leader of the Free World basically saying its ok to shoot someone in the street.

For the record I'm against knife attacks on the street.
