Jay Gruden, not Jon Gruden. =( Such disappoint.

Why? Seems a lot of teams have been trying to get jay to coach for a while now. He even turned down the Colts, and others, when they were looking for a head coach.

No way in hell does a retired coach leave a 7 figure job as an commentator for a coaching gig. There's much more job security and much less stress/work as a talking head.

Alabama OC hired by Michigan. Kiffin interviewing and expected to take the now vacant position in Bama.
It was bad enough when Nick Saban booted away the Iron Bowl. If he hires Kiffin, he'll have officially jumped the shark.

So, why did I miss this nude Luck pick that was tweeted? Nobody posted about it? I figured at the very least ICF would have mentioned it. >_<

yeah, I know. there was a pretty awesome article on Gruden some time ago. It sounds like he has the best job ever in his mind--and he's right. He starts watching film at about 5am every day, on both teams for the upcoming Monday night game and analyzes each snap as if he has some sort of personality disorder.

This is basically everything he loves to do, and there is no pressure to please a bunch of mouthbreathing fans and asshole owners.

At first I thought that said Rudy Gay and I was very confused.

Who did Strahan blow?

Dungy needs a new jacket.

So does Bettis.

The rest of them I don't have any comment or care about.

So the list is 15, and they elect 3-6, so using 5 as a nominal means you've got to drop 10. Making that list of ten I'd guess Anderson, Brooks, Green, Reed, Shields, and Williams. Then going over I'd toss Bettis for the steelers resentment, Lynch as it's his first time, Dungy for the fear he'll coach again factor, and even though Harrison would be the first up among the most "modern" WR, I'd drop him in favor of Brown.

So Eddie has a chance, niners seem to be generally liked again and they will be getting ready to open the new stadium so maybe that helps grease him in.

I always confuse Tim Brown for Ted Brown.

I hope Morten gets in. The last single bar kicker, right? Or maybe that was brother Gary

IMO, Brooks should be at the top of the list because he's an awesome guy all around.

Is Dungy really a HoFer?

First African American head coach to win a Superbowl, decent win percentage, came up with the Tampa 2 with Kiffin. Plus, he coached one of the most prolific QBs in recent history. He has a strong argument for HoF. Much more so than Bettis.
