I heard on the BBC version, he revisits the restaurant he improves after a few weeks. Too bad they don't do it in this version, although I still really enjoyed it.

He doesn't. He's a restrauntuer and celebrity now. He's hired executive chef's to run his restaurants and a hell of a manager it seems.
Don't get me wrong he can still cook the pants of Bobby Flay (who can't?) though.
