so wheres this DLC? I'm not seeing it on steam

My guess is that you'll have to buy it through origin. Click on DLC in the main menu and see where it takes you. Whether or not it'll work for the steam edition is anyone's guess.

I'm just about finished; I have only 191 side quests; is this most of them or did I miss a gazillion of them ?

Ok I finished. I would rate this game a very solid 4 on a scale of 1 to 10. One of the worse games I ever bothered to finished.

Ok it wasn't quite that bad; maybe a 6 or 7. I was really pissed at the end because the camera kept changing to this weird angle during the dragon fight and I couldn't see over the crystals the dragon dropped. Really stupid camera issue.

hmm, I seem to have quit this game cold turkey after about 70 hours. Well, I ahven't played in a few days, but I'll likely pick it up again some time soon to finish.

Thing is--I finished Travelers and Ballads quest line, mostly through Mages (I think), and sort of doing Warsworn (I'm finesse/mage, so not that into Warsworn).

I like the game--the combat, but the questing is kinda piling up into the realm of generics on me. I'm at the main quest where it divides into the two tasks--finished the one that takes you to the desert and Adessa (though I had unlocked and explored much of the area for the other part of that quest--find the general).

I get burned out cleaning up quests from area to area, closing up lorestones and such. loot, sell, loot, salvage, craft here and there...

I suppose the story and characters simply aren't very compelling to me?

EA need to work on their ease of access to DLC. In the last 2 days I've had to "guide" 4 people on how to even get hold of the DLC with Origin instead of Steam...

On the whole I'm pretty impressed with the DLC though, hope for more like it in the future.

I am just about in the same spot as you. Just picked up the 'find the general' quest. I like the combat from the perspective that it is considerably more dynamic than games like Skyrim. But i find it a bit generic in another perspective. I generally play a straight wizard and have a hard time imagining him jumping around like a flee on a hot plate all the time. And the number and variety of spells is on the significantly limited side.

also, anyone else having problems with the inventory? I find myself hoarding even generic stuff in my given profession path so that I can break it down and craft better stuff later. Add to that the fact that I am carrying around more (useless) potions than I know what to do with and I have to go home 2-3 times per dungeon. Now given the ludicrous amounts of stuff you can carry anyway, it just seems insane to put a cap at the point where they do. And then to make even generic vendor trash valuable (from a crafting perspective) on top of that just seems flawed (to me).
