They let their kids do any damned thing they want - let them run wild and crazy all over the place and they won't start to discipline them until they are like 5 or so.

So you have a bunch of unruly kids doing stupid shit because their parents won't enforce any sort of rules when they are that young.

100% parents fault for allowing it.

the ignorance is strong in this one. This could have easily happened to anyone (black, white, asian... etc.). I wonder what you would say said if the kid was something else?

Well seeing as how there aren't support guidelines for gravestones, I'd say the cemetery did nothing wrong. Fuck the parents and the lawyer for trying to profit on this accident.

Parents of boy crushed by headstone sue cemetery

But Padilla said he has no evidence kids were playing on the headstones.

WTF? How on earth can they even say this? The little bastard was crushed by a headstone...you think the headstone chased him around and jumped on him? The kid was obviously on the headstone in some fashion to actually be crushed by it. Shouldn't that be the evidence right there the kid was playing on the headstone?

I'm still surprised they don't bolt these to the ground with a meter deep foundation. It's already a couple k for the granite, what's a bit more concrete.

Well aside from the racist as shit comments, everything else would be pretty much the same. It HAS to be the parents fault, it would be impossible for anyone on here to have kids who stray, even for a second. My Mom was a damn good Mother, but there was more than a few times I managed to evaid her while we were out and she was at an appointment or something similar. This is what MOST kids do, I guess that means my mom was a bad mother huh? lol ATOT kills me.

It very easily could have been me getting smashed by the headstone, or anyone on here's kid, the kid was fucking three years old, it's not like they had an understanding of what they were doing. A CHILD strayed, shit happens, this time it just had tragic results.

Thank god the parents on here have perfect kids who never disobay.

They should sue the dead guy whose grave the kids were playing. He obviously pushed the headstone over from beyond the grave as a form of punishment.
