heres some actual facts on the spill and clean up. just strip out all the adjectives that describe dakota and you have a pretty good article about the spill.

It's not generally appreciated that these pipelines don't carry regular crude oil. Diluted bitumen is a total son of a bitch to clean up. It is responsible for the costliest onshore oil spill in US history.

Yep, nasty stuff. Given what they do to it to make it flow I believe the corrosion worries. And when the thinners evaporate the stuff sinks. Ugh.

More republican rectal cranial inversion. The usual contempt for the environment is paired in this case with their desire for US taxpayers to pay for the spill cleanups, not the Canadian companies selling and pumping the dilbit. These people will need to see their own families deal with tainted water before they give a shit I'm afraid.
