Even the largest cup is not that large, I've had the best results with the regular 8oz setting, and sometimes I'll brew two into one cup.
is there anything wrong with brewing two cups using 1 k-cup?

1. Buy $20 Black & Decker coffee maker from Walmart and $10 grinder
2. Buy $1 pack of filters and $5 bag of coffee
3. Grind beans, add filter, add water, turn coffee maker on.
4. ???
5. Profit
I can't see the allure of these single cup things. Maybe in an office? They do make terrible coffee. Plus the K-Cups are expensive and each machine has it's own proprietary cups.

How much coffee are you making?!

Probably makes it too weak, though I haven't experimented. It would cost me a minimum of $5 a day to drink coffee from a Keurig
I like the variety, its quick and simple and we enjoy the quiznart we got for xmas.
WOW!!! Already?
Their flavored coffees suck as do their "cappucinos" but I had a cup of Caribou the other day that was actually quite good.
I doubt it would cost you $5 per day = 10 brewed k-cups.
I bought the little k-cup DIY thingy.. Just need to find a flavor I like and purchase a big bag. Hope's it not too expensive.

Im kind of a coffee snob, prefer my own ground (in a burr grinder, of course) and Im considering getting one. Why? Although I drink about a pot in the morning, there are times in the mid day or evening I just want one cup. Also, the wife likes some of the flavored ones and she's not a big coffee drinker. I think for people like me, getting the reusable filter for it and loading it with my own coffee is ideal.
That's what I'd do if I had one. My parents have a Keurig and I don't find the cups to be strong enough for larger than a small diner size cup. I'd want to pack more of my own grounds in there and make a larger cup.
