Kerry/Edwards 2004!!!

The Today Show just broke in to announce Kerry's VP choice is John Edwards. Woot!!!

I predict Dubya will crawl back into his bottle come November.

CNN's reporting it too - with a big segment on Edwards - I think they might've produced a segment for each contender!

Oh, it's now 7:41 AM.

How long before we start seeing the Republicans here ripping into Edwards 😛

Bets anyone? 😛

Edwards was my choice for Prez. He's the best of the bunch IMO.

I'd have to agree - he seemed to be the most appealing of the three (though I know virtually nothing about Vilsack).

Dana Bash was reporting that she started receiving emails from the Republican campaign about why Edwards was not good for the US - seconds after the story broke.

I <3 Edwards too.

the only real problem I see is that we now have two senators. as we've perviously seen, it's really easy to take their senate votes out of context and make them look weak on the issues.

True that, actually I called this ticket a long time ago since it is really Kerry's only chance at a victory, the only problem I see is that Edwards is far more energetic than Kerry and has a better chance of rallying the people behind him instead of Kerry...would be funny if they did win and then in 2008 Edwards runs for the presidency again.

I think this is a good choice, The south, very likely will be the battleground. This is the person that the right doesn't want to go up against.

Yup, if there is any chance of tort reform the Repubs better get theirselves in gear and pass it quick. I have a feeling they won't have much chance after Nov.

Thank God its not Gephardt. Damn you MonstaThrilla for ever suggesting so!!!!!:|:|:|:|:|

Return the White House to the American people

Whatever you say...

IMO kerry picked the wrong guy. He doesn't have the experience the other two have. kerry's "voting record" combined with a fairly new politician doesn't give the ticket the solid feel the other two choices would have.
Oh well - it'll be interesting to see how much populist BS they can spread to trick people into thinking things are bad(two Americas  )

If you recall though, Edwards didn't do all that well in the South in the Primaries. Anyway, not to rain on the parade. I'm just trying to maintain a cautious approach. 😀

Lucky for them they are running against a weak and unpopular Incumbent . Any Incumbernt how had been doing a decent job probably would wipe the floor with them.

Longer than expected. Of course Galt isn't the one I was looking for. 😀

That came a few minutes later 😛

That's one of my big 3 beefs with Bush - He promised Tort reform, and we never f*cking got it. Instead, we got Iraq. Thank you, Mister Shrub.
