Edwards was my choice for Prez. He's the best of the bunch IMO.

I think this was a no brainer. Edwards does a few things for Kerry. One he gives him a southern democrat who is very much centered and above all fairly clean. He doesn't give the republicans much to attack. He also is not someone who will steal the light off of Kerry. Kerry doesn't have the most electric charisma, so having a running mate like Edwards puts Kerry clearly in the driver seat. I think this a good duo. Better than Gore and Lieberman of 2000.

Since when has ANY politician truthfully followed through on what they said they'd do on the campaign trail? On second thought, how deluded are you that you think politicians are honest?

On the Today Show, they just ragged on them to add further insult :D

 As if you had a clue anyways. Drudge did not say it was going to be Hillary. Rush hasn't said it all along either. If you are going to try to bash people - atleast get your facts straight instead of lying about what these people have said.

Oh, and I guess the Post has one less informant from the left now.

Posting a Speculation from an unamed source that is uncollaborated as a front page story that suits your political agenda is a great example of Jornalistic excellence.

And Rush is a conspiracy Theorist about the Clintons and Hillary's need to be VP or Pres....

lets ask Rush..... from his Show.....4/15/04

"Hillary wants to be on the VP ticket so that she dispels the notion that the Clintons are sabotaging the campaign and so that she can also go out there and really be the star. She'd be the star because she'll be the one bringing excitement to it. And, by the way, she'll get all kinds of criticism and the Republicans will launch all they've got at her, and she'll endure that. They know that they're pretty confident Kerry is going to lose and if Kerry wins there's always Fort Marcy Park. So they're rolling the dice on this. "

The park in question is the one where Vince Foster's body was found, In the view of Limbaugh and his followers, where his body was dumped after Hillary had him murdered.

must be the Oxycontin huh Cad.....

In other words, Limbaugh is not merely hinting, he's clearly saying outright that the Clintons intend to assassinate Kerry if he wins the presidency unless Hillary is on the Ticket.

This guy is going to be eaten alive. Six years of political experience - he is sure to crack.

Actually, most lawyers I know do have clean track records and are truly an ethical bunch. Dont let TV and a few bad ones make your perception.

yeah, the lawyer background hopefully will hurt them big, just wondering what skeletons he is hiding back there.

Do the people who hate Edwards for being a lawyer even know about the case where he made his money and his name? The types of trials he's been a part of will help him gain support from average working people.

Hmmm.....a lawyer or an ex-CEO of a company known for making money out of wars, who already pushed for a war where this company got all the no-bid projects.....yeap, tough choice.

Were Rush and Hannity blathering on about this trial lawyer talk last week? This immediate disdain for trial lawyers is so sudden and quite hilarious.

Let's not forget that the GOP's CEO, the Dub himself, wanted to be a lawyer. He applied to UT Law, and since they only accept based on merit (and not on who your daddy is), he was of course rejected.

if Edwards had been a priest and spent the last 20 years building Churches and distributing food and medicine, in Africa, the GOP would insinuate he is a pedophile and openly call him a 'dangerous socialist'.

They're both pretty scummy. The firm I work for defends tobacco corporations and it does leave a bad taste in my mouth. But I also work on a case where the plaintiffs are suing our client for a laughable sum of money.

But the stereotype of the "ambulance chaser" is a plaintiff's attorney. These are the guys who work for a percentage of whatever settlement they win.

If it were Edwards/someone else with Kerry being the whitehouse janitor, I'd vote for Edwards.

Hey, what was the current President's political experience again (pre 2000 that is)?
