White women voted Trump into office a month after the Access Hollywood tape came out. How long are we going to hang onto the fiction that women, as a group, care about rape, contraception, access to abortion, etc?

They clearly don't. They've demonstrated that they don't. They've told you they don't. Ultimately, this is not about gender or sex, decorum, due process, fairness, or anything except power. This is about power, and the ability of a small ruling class to ram a ludicrously unfit juror down our throats. I'm certainly not the first to say it, but it's so much the better for them that he's such an obvious ghoul, it makes the message that much clearer.

So yeah, go ahead and vote, but again, there is not even a fig leaf of democracy in this process, so it's hard to me to see a democratic solution.

There is a large amount of evidence that Kavanaugh repeatedly perjured himself. If that doesn’t matter to you that’s your business.

What evidence has backed up any of Ford's allegations?? There were multiple FBI investigations prior to the last one 'special investigation' and NONE of them produced any evidence to substantiate her claims...these were not subject to the limited scope of the last one either.

The FBI only investigates things it is aware of. There is no reason to think they were aware of this.

As to the most recent investigation it didn’t even interview the two principals. That’s called a total sham. I suspect if the Democrats take back the House they will subpoena documents related to this investigation and find that it was castrated on purpose.

Agreed, I've yet to hear of any evidence, but my complaint is I don't actually trust the administration is actually trying to find any and not to cover up anything that's found. At least that is the attitude they are projecting. If they approached it differently than Trumps normal childish "I want to get my way" tantrums, then maybe people would be more accepting of the news. Instead, it's rush rush rush, ignore the accusations they are false, get it done get it done.

One thing that most people don't understand is that people are never ruled innocent, only not guilty. That means that even if there is a strong suspicion that isn't enough to consider the person guilty but it doesn't mean the person is innocent either.

For example, OJ was ruled not guilty... Does that mean he's innocent?
