What?! I can't believe it? They would do that!!

Are you saying it's only a vote scoring tactic and they never actually want to give it up lest lose the single issue evangelicals?!

*gasp!* They're really unscrupulous that way.

On the bright side, if we seem them actually move on it, then we know they know they're done as a party and we can start working on how to fix everything they set on fire.

Say goodbye to the currently recognized constitutionally protected right of privacy, which is what Roe v. Wade (and Griswold v. Ct, a 1965 outlawing laws that prevented married couples from getting the Pill) were based on. All you purported libertarians (including Rand Paul, the biggest phony of them all) better realize what you have "achieved" in this so-called win for the team.

Be prepared for massive permitted government intrusions in the future. Legal contraception could follow abortion in being outlawed.

Almost as delusional as Collins thinking Kavanaugh won't overturn Roe v. Wade. I guess she totally missed all of Trump's talk of using a litmus test, and hadn't bothered to read his decision on point.

I'm not surprised Flake backed down, after all he is running for the GOP nomination in 2020. He will never get it in a million years, but voting his conscience would make his chances even lower.

Flake is a pussy. He's tried to ride the fence but ended up on none.

He can take his weepy eyes back to AZ and fuck off. There is no caucus for him.

Yes, she is out on quite the limb here and available polling indicates that if Kavanaugh rules the way he's certainly going to rule her seat is in contention.

In the end the GOP got their man and only had to delegitimize the nomination process and now the court itself to get there. Burning down the institutions for partisan gain.

I'll donate money to the first Senator with the guts to come out and say that they no longer recognize the supreme court as a legitimate institution.

Conservatives have to get Kavanaugh on the bench so that they can achieve their goal of dismantling the 14th amendment. They're not going to let this 'silly' notion of womens rights get in their way maintaining an unequal society.

The supreme court stopped being legitimate the second the republicans decided to cut the court down to eight members instead of doing their constitutional duty and voting on appointments from Obama.

The court was arguably already fucked with partisans long before that. Bush v. Gore is a good example of a ruling that undermined its legitimacy.

Everyone knows Flake is a flake. Thats why he's not running again here in AZ...we essentially kicked him out

If you got to ask him, "Jeff, what did your FBI investigation demand get you?"

What would he say?

Restored decorum and regular order?

Provided an exhaustive, fact based report that settled the accusations and suspicion and gave clear direction and confidence to the nation?

Or

Further drove anger for a week?

Threw more suspicion and distrust into an already raging fire?

Gave you a security blanket to make you feel good about what you were going to do regardless?

Nobody is talking about what Sen Hoeven is going to do (nobody knows he exists) but Jeffery felt the need to grab the limelight.

Bravo. Great job Jeff. A treasure to your country.

But it has been unarguably fucked by McConnell and the GOP stealing Obama's nomination. Especially after he compromised to nominate someone Orrin Hatch claimed would have been easily confirmed even after the teabagger wave election. Fuck the supreme court, McConnell has rebuilt it in the image of our broken congress.

I'm really enjoying all the bitching and moaning here today. The Democrats fought dirty and still lost. Now let's see the fallout from this in the next several weeks. Will Ford's lies be exposed and this politicalization of the #Metoo movement prove to be its undoing? I mean, we even have the soccer star Ronaldo facing accusation of rape 8/9 years AFTER he settled the case, all because the "victim" wanted to return to the trough for more money. I pray to G-d Kavanaugh remembers what the Democrats did to him when he's on that bench. The Notorious RBG better hang tight because she's getting up there in years and Trump isn't going anywhere. It'd be a shame if she were to croak when it wasn't her turn to croak...

Can someone check on Felix and see if he is having a stroke? Is he over excited at the thought of coat hanger abortions and dead women in the streets?

Nah, it's the bot programming sticking to the script. Take facts and flip them. He's working true to script.

Collins is already drawing 2020 challenges. At least three including, apparently, Susan Rice.

Yes, let's not forget the stunt Feinstein pulled at the last minute...Some people just see what they want to see. Professional victims are worse than pathetic. I'm outta here.

In what world were Ramirez and Swetnick credible? If anything the 2 accusations drowned out Dr. Ford. Helped by the Rhode Island accusation and the Colorado one.

If anyone submits an affidavit under penalty of perjury that has known connection to a candidate for the Supreme Court and whose allegations are potentially disqualifying and not obviously psychotic or fabricated (e.g. I witnessed him getting anal probed by a green alien), then I really can't find a rationale to not investigate the allegations. Can you? You keep asserting they are not credible, but I haven't seen you or anyone else provide any evidence of any kind that supports this. They are people with known connections to Kavanaugh and telling accounts of behavior consistent with what has been claimed publicly and under penalty of perjury. Their affidavits include statements that they can name corroborating witnesses. Seriously, how could you dismiss them as not worthy of investigation?

Your money is safe in your wallet.

Ds were already flaking out.

"We should change the nomination process. Maybe term limits. But that's too hard. :sadface Maybe just hope will work.. thoughts and prayers. :depressedface"

I don't think it's the worst case outcome for Democrats. It's pretty clear that GOP was going to put some right winger on the court, but this particular one helps de-legitimize the right wing court the most. Can you imagine an accused rapist justice ruling to limit women's reproductive rights?

Manchin is a yes. I called it perfectly.

Big win for Democrats today. As long as Kav gets on the court we will be in great shape for the midterms. It sucks that we get a rapist for a Supreme Court Justice but white women have nobody to blame besides themselves for this. Next time vote democrat and you'll still have control over your body.

https://www.crowdpac.com/campaigns/...o-on-kavanaugh-or-we-fund-her-future-opponent

Can anyone confirm that this is this the supposed donation page for anti-Collins? If so I might have to donate when it comes back online, for the first time in my life. Why is it so hard to put country first?

That's it.

Happily spend $20.20 or more

Money and showing up in Nov is what turns the electoral wheels.

Complaining online doesn't.

Wondering how the Bernie Bros are feeling now?
Yeah, you showed Hillary alright.

You give her too much credit. She's way too much of a pushover to do something like leaking. She was trying to give you your rapist SC justice but unfortunately some of Ford's friends contacted the media about her letter and that was what made her go public.

Feinstein is a seline zionist shill and a neocon but she is not what you accuse her of being. She doesn't pull any stunts, it's 100% geriatric ramblings and complaining about Hamas for her. No stunts allowed.
