If anyone submits an affidavit under penalty of perjury that has known connection to a candidate for the Supreme Court and whose allegations are potentially disqualifying and not obviously psychotic or fabricated (e.g. I witnessed him getting anal probed by a green alien), then I really can't find a rationale to not investigate the allegations.
