When Will Smith said he was 'West Philadephia born and raised' what he really meant was he grew up in Villanova. It's basically the same thing, I mean have you seen some of the crowds at those basketball games?
My ex father-in-law said he hailed from Philly when he was really from Reading. Hell, people think Anaheim is right next to LA.

I don't think you understand the words you are using.

Pedantic definition:
1) giving too much attention to formal rules or small details

Saying the police report didn't say he picked a fight because it only said he threw the ice in his drink at someone is basically the dictionary definition of being pedantic because everyone knows that throwing the contents of your drink at someone is picking a fight with them. I would love to meet the person who honestly believes otherwise.
Conceded. I'm being pedantic about the police report.

Just stop people.

A newly obtained, unredacted version of the report states Dudley "was transported to Union Ave detention facility by prisoner conveyance..." and a large "A" on the report indicates Dudley was arrested, according to New Haven's police chief Anthony Campbell. It's not known whether Dudley was ever charged with a crime.
There is also an "O," indicating "other," next to Kavanaugh's name in the report. The designation signifies anyone who was interviewed by police who may have witnessed the incident or anyone who had been spoken to about the incident, according to Dave Hartman, a spokesman for the New Haven Police Department.
"This is the report of a simple assault. Mr. Kavanaugh is not the subject of this simple assault. He was not the person arrested," Hartman said. "The arrest was made after the victim identified someone else as throwing a glass that hit him in the ear."

The police spokesman and the indication of "O" shows that there was no arrest on the basis of criminal wrongdoing.

Can we move on?

I do the same thing but I suspect your ex father in law was doing that for the same reason I do - because nobody knows where Reading is. I would certainly hope the guy would not try and claim he experienced the gun violence and crime problems of Philadelphia because he lived in Reading.

No, it means he grew up in Philadelphia, on the western side. It's still Philadelphia you halfwit.

Unlike Bethesda, Maryland, which is not part of Washington DC. Similarly, Villanova is not part of Philadelphia.

In case you have forgotten, Washington, DC is not a part of any state. An easy way to see if some place is in Washington, DC is to check if it is in a state.

I don’t see how this is relevant as nobody is saying Kavanaugh committed a crime, simply that there is a police report showing him instigating a fight while drinking.

NEW: Dr. Ford’s lawyers in letter to FBI Director Wray and FBI General Counsel Boente: “It’s inconceivable that the FBI could conduct a thorough investigation of Dr. Ford’s allegations without interviewing her...”

The FBI investigation transcript:

FBI Agent: "So Mr. Kavanaugh, none of these allegations are true, right?

Bret Kavanaugh: "No. It's all a Clinton conspiracy."

FBI Agent: "Of course, the Clintons. We expected as much. Thank you for taking your time to speak with us. I think this investigation is concluded."

But..but..he went to church. He did his homework. He was shy.

He cries at the mention of lifting weights. Surely lifting/throwing things in anger would have been too much for young Boof to handle. Better to do the lord's work, like keepin an eye out for the Devil and that triangle.

Sigh. Aren't you tired of moving the goalposts and answering questions with questions?

Last time. Where, in the police report, does it say Kavanaugh picked the fight?
Sigh. Aren't you tired of moving the goalposts, redefining terms to suit your desires, and ignoring the obvious? I have shown you exactly where it says he picked a fight and even was so gracious as to provide a scanned photo of the report in the officer's own handwriting describing it thusly. Bort O'Kavanaugh was in an argument. He escalated that argument to physical altercation by assaulting the other party. When presented with that information Bort O'Kavanaugh refused to deny the account to the officer. The officer noted the police report with the only account given to him, that Bort picked a fight by assaulting someone.

It says quite a bit about Bort O'Kavanaugh that not only was he apparently a violent drunk in his youth but he also had no respect for the law or law enforcement by refusing to answer some fairly simple questions. Blue Lives Matter, Bort!

I haven't moved the goalposts a mm. I asked you to prove what you said in post #5604 by pointing out where in the police report it said Kavanaugh picked a fight. It doesn't say that but instead of just admitting that you and your girlfriends want to keep moving the goalpost and become increasingly more pedantic and obtuse.

mm? You sound as american as taj.

LoL. The police report does not say that. At this point you're either stupid or a liar. I'll let you choose but in either case you're dismissed.

Good job!

Then what does it say? If I'm so stupid spell it out for me in small, easily understood words. Be sure that it maintains a Flesh score of no less than 90.

This is just embarrassing for the left. I cant believe its even real.

Ford has so many holes in her story, yet people here, and everywhere else believe it without any proof. Even before the hearings they believed it. She doesnt know what month or year it took place. Where it was at. How she got home. Has various accounts of who was even in the room. Those acts are all alleged btw. No witnesses that she named have given her a ounce of corroboration, including her one time best friend. And thats just for starters. No prosecutor in their right mind would even attempt to charge him with anything. If something comes out later proving he did this and anything else, then fine go after him with everything legally allowed. Until then, you just look like hypocritical, politically motivated sheep.

Yet people judged him on her word alone, guilty as charged. Then went on with even more ridiculous allegations that have been refuted and taken back by the accuser. Complaining that they want this FBI investigation done quickly, after Dems sat on it for months is also just dumb. It is obvious that this was a well time stunt, and that it was leaked and they don't care about Ford at all.

Every single person who claims he is guilty, a rapist, sexual assaulter or anything in between who also doesnt hold their fellow Dems in the same accord are hypocrites. Which is most of them.

People (women) STILL go see Bill Clinton speak. They voted for him, twice. They voted for Hillary. They voted for Keith Ellison. Kobe won an oscar this year. There is ZERO calling for the same treatment that Kav is getting. Do you want to know why? Because as I have said in the past, Dems dont give a flying fuck about women and their treatment of alleged abuse. They ONLY care when it is someone on the right who is the alleged person doing the acts. If they universally cared then their actions would be consistent. I really hope the Republicans do not retaliate when its reversed and sink to their level. But they probably will and we'l go 'round and 'round with this new soon to be norm. Its sad and pathetic, and we citizens deserve better.

Each conservative poster enters the thread, ignores all that has been discussed, and reposts the Republican talking points as if coming up with something original or something that furthers the discussion. Don't be surprised if folks dismiss your lazy post out of hand.
