Karate kid

Whats the big deal? God the same theme has been done like 3-4 times. One of them even had a girl. You act like something sacred has been broken.

Another pathetic classy post. You really have no clue about anything do you? Your puny little mind can't even comprehend the simplest of concepts, can it? Why don't you go into the woods and think about why this movie is stupid for a few decades. Maybe then you'll understand, but I doubt it. Everyone knows this.

Our company had tickets to a special pre-screening of this and we got a chance to see it last night. It is AWESOME. Whatever doubts you have about this movie, you will be surprised at how well the acting, directing, and character development play on your emotions. I nearly cried when they killed Dre's (Jaden Smith's) father in a robbery scene that is sure to stir controversy once the film is released to the general public.

just kidding, didn't see it yet, but sure as hell can't wait. i loved the original karate kid movies.

I find you comical, because you think you are some kind of star attraction with your little "Everyone knows this" jingle. But here's a nice oldie, but goodie jingle, "You can kiss my ass". And now "Everyone knows that".

You are wrong. Trust me on this.

If it came down to having to ban one of you, 99% of AT would pick you over him

Which means what exactly? Classy should be relieved that 99% would want him banned. TheFlyingPig was entertaining the first post I saw from him. It got old as shit by the 3rd. He's like one of those retarded internet memes that's won't go away. An actual living version of "all your bases are belong to us"

It's not Karate Kid. This movie should be called Kung Fu Kid. Mr. Miyagi was Japanese. Yeah the movies started to get really bad after awhile with the last one being the worst, but the first movie was one of the greatest.

I leave with this, "Wax on, wax off".

On what part?
His fake stardom?
His jingle?
My jingle?
He can kiss my ass?

What part am I wrong on?

don't worry. js80 and pig share the same political and religious views. you can read about how much they hate arabs in P&N. no wonder one pig is defending the other.

we should have a poal to see who ATOT wants banned: classy vs. theflyingpig

Kung-fu kid.

Jackie Chan = Wushu and Chinese

Jaden Smith = Black kid

Karate = Korean/not Jackie Chan

New Karate Kid movie = No sense being made/money maker

Everyone knows this.

Well, the karate I took was the Korean form...soo...either Japanese or Korean, doesnt matter, its still not Chinese or Wushu...everyone knows this.

korean ? you gotta be kidding me.

watch karate kid 2, the style is supposely Okinawan's. rooted in Shorin-Ryu Karate Do, Master Chojun Myagi took the Naha-Te system and developed it into Go-Ju Karate Do.

In the late 1800s a young Japanese Officer by the name of Funakosi began studying the Okinawan styles and developed his own style of Shotokan Karate Do.

As students began learning these styles and changing them as they saw fit to develop there own style, various names sprung up everywhere. In 1936, the Okinawan master met to decide upon a generalized term to cover all the Okinawan styles. They deliberated between To-Te and Kara-Te Do for some time but eventually decided on Kara-Te, which is now commonly called Karate.

so it came from Ryukyu Island, predates Japan. until Japan took that island and named it Okinawa.
