Oh I get it for interference purposes. Just a few states is enough. But when one needs all states to win, why allow this blatant cheating?
 
Well it all started with Kanye ripping a mic out of Taylor's hands, went on a tirade and it all went south from there for me anyway.

So let's compare Kanye with Obama and make a judgment call on Kanye's presidential qualifications from that point of view. Or for a much more sympathetic and evenhanded comparison let's compare him with Reagan seeing as if they both came from the entertainment industry just like Trump.

Republicans are voting for trump. You may find a few oddballs that would throw in for Kanye, but that would be rare IMO. They want to win, and the real battle is Biden v Trump.

Kanye's role is to distract from the real battle and tear down Bidens lead, altering the momentum and ultimately the election results.

Trump's confident his base, almost entirely white religious nutters, isn't going anywhere.

He eeked by in 2016, I'm guessing he will again. I'm not so confident in my fellow citizens rationale

Hahaha! I knew it all along...Kanye is running as a spoiler to hurt Biden and retain Trump. If he can siphon enough black vote, that could end Biden. I doubt it though. I think a fair number of Americans think Kanye is bat shit crazy.

wow, way to go out on a limb there with the Kanye plan. Just curious--what people out there do you honestly believe didn't know that this was Trump/GOP incentive to prop up (another) diseased human to run as a vote siphon?

Hurting Trump is more plausible. For some republicans, this will remind them that the two are friends and could turn some Midwestern bible belt Trump thumpers against Trump. And.... when you have two nut-jobs competing against one another then chaos is bound to happen. As the two compete for the position of most outrageous candidate, it could get nasty. Remember, Donald Trump does not like to be upstaged BY ANYONE. And as for Joe, all that Joe need do is sit back and watch the lunacy play out. And look at it this way.... this gives Trump still another excuse after he loses the election. IT WAS ALL HIS FAULT, HE MADE ME LOSE.
 
So .... will Candidate - Kanye ever be required to go in front of the media and face questions during his “I’m GONNA run for President” circus act?

I guess we’ve thrown every “norm” out the window since 2016, but does Kanye ever have to face legit public questions like “you’re running for President – if elected, how would you address the unemployment rate, or the Coronavirus?”

Or can he just “hang out in a bunker” in Wyoming indefinitely, not doing shit, and see what states petition enough signatures to put him on the ballot? With nothing to lose, other than his dignity and/or reputation?

The GOP propping this dude up like the dead guy in Weekend at Bernie’s, for no other reason than to divert some of the Biden voters away, just shows what a farce they have become.

JFC... Why can’t we go back to having nice things, like a President who gets excoriated because he saluted with a coffee cup in his hand, or because he wore a tan suit.

If a mentally ill man wants to run for president to help his friend, go for it. What I find disgusting though is that there are people out there who care so little about someone who is mentally ill to let him do that to his own detriment and running for president is not for the faint of heart.

It’s disgusting.
 
I'm not completely buying the “Poor Kanye” schtick, at least not now – these people didn’t force themselves upon his “campaign” and make themselves his electors and agents. I'm not convinced that he doesn't know what he's doing.

Again any lawyer that worked for him need to be disbarred for incompetence. How stupid can they be to be caught handling the supposed competition also???

Just like the impeachment. One set of lawyers argument, he can’t be impeached for using his executive powers. But then other lawyers fighting congressional subpoenas. Judge so what needs to be done when POTUS defies a subpoena? Lawyer - why you impeach them!!!!
 
I see a trend here with how insane does a candidate need to be ??? Should Donald Trump be re-elected as insane as Trump is, just imagine how insane future candidates will need to be in order to live up to the new standard of insanity? It won't be good enough to just mimic Donald Trump's insanity, future candidates must go even further if that candidate has any hope of winning the presidency. No more kissing babies, future candidates after Trump will need to sacrifice babies on a rock, just like in the bible, to win over the religious fundies. And forget about claiming he or she candidate could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose any votes, the future candidates will be expected to actually shoot people on 5th Avenue to gain votes. Most likely on 5th Avenue shooting out of a window down at the crowd. And future candidates after Trump won't need sex scandals haunting them from the last, future candidates after Trump must have a sex tape loaded and all ready to go. And most likely several sex tapes to satisfy every sexual perversion of the voting public. Can anyone imagine the day after Trump when the candidates are so incredible insane that people will ask... OH PLEASE OH PLEASE. CAN'T WE HAVE DONALD TRUMP BACK AGAIN ???
