So there was a poll with Kanye not mentioned in the question but 2% gag this name as a response. It actually took support from Trump and not Biden.

Also, apparently reports say the Kardashians believe Kanye was having a bi polar episode.

Also finally, Kanye did try to get on the ballots on Florida and South Carolina but has ceased trying after a few short lived effort. Very half hearted. Paid a person $5k to get 136,000ish signatures of registered voters. Lasted less than 2 days before the plug was pulled.

Apparently while he pulled the plug with trying to get on the FL and SC ballots, he plunked $35k down and will officially be on the OK ballot.

Bi Polar disorder is a hell of a disease. Eventually if he doesn’t stay on treatment the yearly episodes get more and more frequent and more and more violent until they are in and out of episodes regularly. Left untreated he’s not going to function as a normal person. If I had to guess I’d say within 5 years he’s not going to be able to take care of himself on a day to day basis.

What I mean by non functioning is a person no longer able to take care of themselves without the help of others. Impulse control is one thing not being able to take care of yourself is entirely different.

I’ve see the long term effects of untreated bipolar disorder. My sister is 41. She is unable to take care of herself physically. She randomly gets aggressive. She’s been institutionalized half a dozen times in the past two years. When my mom is no longer there to take care of her she will have to be put in a state home or other group care facility.

There comes a point in untreated bipolar where a person has a complete break that they never recover from. It’s not pretty and Kanye is well on his way down that path.

The Trump campaign lawyer who submitted Kanye’s paperwork/signatures did so 90 minutes after the deadline. I heard she had to call ahead to have someone unlock the doors and there’s timestamped video of her rushing into the courthouse.

There’s a lengthy list of Republicans working wth Kanye now to get him on the ballot. I think we can drop the “Poor Kanye” schtick – these people didn’t force themselves upon his “campaign” and make themselves his electors and agents. More GOP assistance for Kanye’s er, umm...“independent” campaign.

Is the whole point of getting Kanye on the ballot to take away votes from Biden? Is there anything else to it?

Each state determines who and how people are added to the ballot. It appears that some states still allow people to qualify to get on the ballot. Kanye doesn’t need to be on every ballot he just needs to be on a few key state’s ballots.
