I just hate having to have all these accounts from different retails. Some will allow Google Pay but some insist on making a account with them. I also appreciate with Amazon looking through my history to see what I previously ordered. I have a bad Amazon addiction and cannot seem to kick it.
I use Amazon more than anything to research products, read customer reviews (which as I alluded to above today used to be much much better because people could comment to their heart's content on other customer reviews, but Bezos tossed all those comments in the incinerator

). There's no obligation to buy. I put things in my Amazon cart and just leave them there as reminders. If I think there's a possibility I'll buy, I'll move items cluttering up my cart to Save For Later. I'll do that a lot of times because I want to further research the product, generally by reading reviews. Or maybe I'm in no hurry and will leave items in Save For Later as potential make-up items to reach the Free Shipping minimum.
I have scores of items in my Save For Later list! I also keep data on just about everything I buy online, usually including the URL to find it, also what I paid for it, any additional info I might be interested in at some later time (that I think of). That goes for Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Target, etc. I haven't bought from Newegg for many years, but used to. Haven't noticed competitive pricing, plus I rarely buy computer parts nowadays.
