Kinda explains why Republicans bought so many media outlets.. so they could control the media narrative even though most of the country is not right leaning and especially gen z.
It's the editor at large. But expect more.

Prime is really good here, and competitive price-wise, but I just cancelled anyway. I need to shop less as it is, and I will support other retailers like Jenson and others for bike stuff, Chewy and Costco for all my pet needs, and look at other options. I've cancelled before for half a year stretches but I hope to go longer.

Unfortunately, I will still have to shop at Whole Foods for a lot of things. I wish Sprout grocery stores would start opening up around here, which reminds me, I gotta send them an email.

I stopped buying all Shimano parts on Amazon. Too many fakes. I have two road bikes for my wife and myself, and both run Ultrgra groupos. I got burned by a fake Ultegra chain. We ride enough (intense hillclimbs) that we need to replace chains a few times a year and cassettes/chainrings once a year or two years.

Now it's LBS or Jenson or REI.

Prime is fine here, but I always found that free shipping without prime was often almost as fast. And not havin g prime makes me look to additional retailers to support, even if some are large national or regional chains too. And $150/yr pays for a fair amount of quicker shipping when I need it.

There is a Whole Foods in my town, but it's more expensive than the Albertsons nameplate store here, and the quality isn't better.
This, I've never had prime, everything I've ordered has arrived within two or three days no matter where I've lived, unless there's a delay from the shipper. Given that I've never paid for shipping either, no idea why people give Amazon free money.

MSM colluding directly with the GQP!!

LA Tmes… CNN… NY Times… WSJ…

Common denominator? Billionaire owners.
Weasel Bezos crushed another traditional endorsement:

Marty Baron, the former executive editor of the Washington Post, criticized the newspaper’s decision, calling it “cowardice, with democracy as its casualty”.

Donald Trump, Baron said, will “see this as an invitation to further intimidate the owner” of the Washington Post, the billionaire Jeff Bezos. “Disturbing spinelessness at an institution famed for courage,” he added.

People acting surprised that corporations and individuals will act out of literal self preservation.

From what exactly?
Trump has been more than explicit in his promises that he will abuse all of the power of the federal government, with zero regard to any laws that were completely emasculated by the MAGA Supremes, to go after his perceived “enemies” - and billionaires believe this is a realistic risk.

I don't see many reports taken into account that Nikki Haley continue to get 30% of Republican votes during the primaries even after she dropped out. Now I don't expect all those 30% of Republicans to show up. But if 5 or 10% of the Republican vote is not for Trump or is for Harris, that's a lot of votes.

It does include other things, access to a music library (though smaller than it used to be), video content (though now there's ads and lots has moved to FreeVee, which also has ads), PC games (finally added DOOM Eternal to my library, I've been interested in playing it, but haven't gotten around to picking it up yet). Some of the games on offer are redeemed by way of granting you a code to enter on GOG.com or the Microsoft Store or linking to Epic Games.

You have to order 35 bucks or more to get free shipping without prime. Now I have more motivation to just try to limit Amazon shopping in a big way.

Yeah I generally buy stuff in bunches or just put it in save for later. When it's over $35, that's when I pull the trigger.
