I'm quite troubled by some of the language being used. Kamala will create something horrific? Blaming her for the racist pieces of shit right-wing we have in this country? The only people creating the issue are the fucking right-wing racist fascists, not Obama, and not Kamala. You really need to learn how to use language appropriately because this is just hurting the Democrats caused by misrepresenting and painting things in a completely incorrect light.

Better start building walls and preparing for a national divorce because every other scenario is a lot worse.

Unlike you I don't have my head up my liberal ass and actually live with Trumper neighbors!

I think Dems really need to stop listening to Iowa, NH, SC and start the primaries in the swing states first..
SC at least has a large black population, so the primary population would at least be more representative of party demographics. Iowa and NH are largely white as snow.

Dems shitcanned their IA caucus which was the correct move. NH being NH will just move their primary up if anybody else does because they are nuts, we should just ignore them. SC, NV, and MI all going in February is pretty decent I think.

You have seriously weird issues.

I just talked to the most liberal guy I know.. the guy I go to do my car emissions every year and he's a full Trumper now (and hated Trump in 16 and 20), because of migrants creating problems for him ( supposedly because blah blah blah ).

If Trump is making this headway in South Richmond Hill, New York with hard core blues.. (a place so blue.. republicans don't even contest it and Congressman Meeks strolls to victory) .. I fully concur..

Things are SERIOUSLY WEIRD right now..

On the bright side.. just filled up and gas is below $3 a gallon.. ($2.97 to be exact) so things are looking better for Kam..

It's like every post you make is about immigrants and how they're turning "liberals" into Trumpers.

Are you also voting for Trump because you've drowned yourself in right-wing anti-immigration propaganda?

No.

But I will vote for a Republican for mayor and governor if my choices come next time are still Adams and Hochul.

BTW it's not just me.. Quinnipiac is a fairly reliable pollster and it generally favors dems.. but the latest polls show stuff is trending in the wrong direction.

Still there is time to fix this but I think dems keep shooting themselves in the foot. Harris needs to get on the front foot more rather than a do no damage campaign.

That will put the shopping cart mafia on notice.

And the hoteliers who expect big money for housing migrants
And the lazy ass cops who don't show up when called.
And the cabbies who double park and stop traffic..
And the gangs who recruit migrant kids to commit crimes..

But you can keep on poking fun at me or you can get your head out of your ass and just look at congress..

We'd have a dem trifecta right now but Dems lost races in New York due to migrant crime in 2022..

Migrant crime is a manufactured talking point. Immigrants are less likely to break the law than the "native" US citizen. Because why would you want to get kicked out of the country?

Not sure what cops not doing their jobs or double parked cabs has to do with migrants.

I am sure you have specific stats showing migrants committing crimes at higher rates than the general population in NY. Care to link them up?

Listen, I'm going to go against the grain here.

Just vote Trump this cycle. Vote R down the line.

They're promising what you want - ethnic cleansing.

Just be honest with yourself, you're tearing yourself into pieces over this.

NY is safe, friend. Vote ethnic cleaning '24.

There's a difference between playing with a match and a candle and a match and gasoline.

Trump is gasoline and I might as well be voting to ethnic cleanse myself.

But there are legit reason why New Yorkers don't like Adams and Hochul.. and it has nothing to do with right wing talking points.

Yes I agree.. but it seems to be working on the most educated Americans isn't it?

If you look through history constantly lying to the public works. At a minimum it sows doubt. Jospeh Gobbels wrote one of those chapters.

It's been a favored nativist trope for more than a 150 years AFAIK. I think the people set against them are as likely to give it up as I am to vote for Trump.

Seems like every couple years we get a study that confirms it.

We don't have a migrant crime problem. We do have domestic terrorism and christofascism problems though.

Congrats on trying to become the dumbest poster in the forum's history and that's some doing.. beating some0ne's mind.

There's dems I love.. aoc, biden, booty, sanders, warren, gretch etc.

There's no republicans I love, but if they don't have a national following.. they might be better than some corrupt local dems I have like Adams.

FFS I voted for Mike Bloomberg the republican.. he didn't turn out so bad did he?

So if all these educated liberals are being taken in by made-up crap (like rampant "migrant crime"), what exactly is Harris supposed to be doing? Lying like Trump about it in order to win? Start a deportation movement before Trump can? Methinks that might lose her as many votes as she gains. Trump has the ignorant racist vote pretty much in the bag.

My own anecdotal experience is very different. I'm here in redneckistan FL and the people I know that hated Trump before still do. Every one of them that I know. And the people that liked him before (like my entire Evangelical extended family) still do. The mushy middlers who don't follow politics, who can say...I know a few people that if they vote at all are likely to make their decision on something they saw on tv on election morning.

Yeah but you are the one who keeps reposting the migrant crime bullshit as fact.

Got those stats yet? I guess I may be dumb for thinking that at some point you stop posting disinformation.

I used to respect you as a poster but your bigotry towards Muslims and repeated posting of misinformation has forced me to change my opinion.

Whatever she's doing is not working..

Look at a month ago.. all tv outlets were carrying her rallies from start to end.. and what're they doing now?

Busy hitting Biden with manufactured Trump bullshit like he's supposedly hard to reach.

She's gotta manufacture attention.. maybe medicare for all discussion again to compete with concepts of a plan. Maybe giving Ukraine more aid so it can actually beat Russia. Maybe sell her economic plan better or confront Bibi?

I agree it is ALARMING that people actually are starting to think Trump is a solution. Maybe after 9 years they're comfy with him but not comfy with migrants driving scooters on the sidewalks and doing u-turns mid street or running from collisions and not having insurance while legal new yorkers have to pay. It seems something is pissing them off.

Edit: I guess part of me is pissed off too but atleast I understand these problems are local and I want to replace the mayor and governor!

If a brown woman becomes president, I would not consider that losing the war.
If Harris wins but Dems lose the Senate that will be winning a battle and losing a war. Nothing will get done and people will blame Harris. Dems will get voted out in masse 2026 and Harris loses reelect in 2028

Reminds me of a quote I saw on Twitter,

"Liberals need to do something to address immigration, or eventually the far right will."

But yeah, we seem cooked. Kamala's numbers aren't impressive and if true she is losing minority voters, that's brutal.

Unfortunately too many Americans simply want a Caesar. It's lazy thinking but that's where we are as a country. And with guys like Thiel and Musk in the background, there is no stopping our slide towards authoritarianism.

Balkanize.

Even using RCP's dogshit averages loaded with GOP garbage she took the race from Trump +3 nationally over Biden to +2 for her. A 5 point gain and evening up in the swings is pretty good considering.
