How much do you want it? What's it for ... work or pleasure?

It looks a little pricey but not TOO bad. I wouldn't get it for work since it's overkill.

I don't know. I think I might give it to my parents if I can't convince my boss to have the company buy it from me (for my use).

it isn't a bad deal but not great either, it is exactly what it should be. You didn't get a deal but you didn't get ripped off, be happy

i bought a 12.1 from toshiba at bestbuy, core 2 5200, 1gb ram, 120gb hg, etc but when i brought it home it was too heavy, too big, and UGLY. i paid 1300+ tax, i took it back

Why did you buy it in the first place? Did it have a big "Sale!" sign next to it or something? 😕

it had a big "deal expires today" sign on it.

IMHO you can get a laptop that does 90% of what that one will do for 1/3 of the price. I just don't think it's worth it to buy a high end laptop. If you want it for playing games you can get a decent desktop + cheap laptop for less than the cost of this.

It's a thinkpad though. It's not like sony we're you're paying for the brand name. Thinkpads won't fall apart on you, are tough and customer service is top notch. well woth it. More for business and less for the budget concious

Seems like a good deal for a thinkpad, but a little bit out of my budget 🙁.
