Just got a C for my final grade in a class

I withdrew from all classes. This university sucked so hard I was losing my mind. I had to leave. Going to a CC next semester to be an EMT.

I didn't take any classes this semester, nor last semester... 185 hours later, I'm finally done with classes! I did finish my gradingtoday - B average on the curve. 😀

My lowest was an A++++++++++++++++++++.

It came from a fellow ebay member. I was like, damn, only 20 pluses? How did I slip up? Oh well.

i haven't registered yet and all undergrad math and science classes are full.

along with fly fishing and bowling

Aye, it does. In a few years, I do not think you will care as much, but that does not ease the wounded ego which faces you now.

I got a C(77%) in my chem class.
Got an 87% on the final, 88% average on lab, 75% average on exams. But here's the kicker, I have a 40% average on homework that accounts for 15% of my grade. If it weren't for the homework, I would be getting a B, easily. The homework involves copying answers from the back of the book, so it's not like it proves my competency in the class.
I'm going to talk to the science dean about it, see if I could get my grade bumped up.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?

It is your fault, stop blaming somebody else and looking for excuses.

Don't bother going to the Dean. You knew on the first day of class what the grading policy would be, and you chose to not turn in homework. If you had a problem with the policy then, you could have dropped the class.
