Yesterday it was 29C (84F) in Toronto, 27C today. Needless to say, not seasonal temperatures for this time of year around here. I'm not complaining though...
It's expected to cool down over the weekend.

Tied a 94 year old record for our high for October 4th today in San Antonio (97F = 36C). I am so sick of this heat and thrilled it's supposed to only be 86F = 30C tomorrow thanks to our first real cold front since spring.

92F = 33.3C today

Never heard of compressional heating ahead of cold fronts until this year, but now I can't unsee how hot our days end up being ahead of significant cold fronts. Had one day last month where we were 109F right ahead of a cold front and the 92F we're at today is the hottest we have been in since October 4th when we were 98F = 36.7C. Thankfully the 7 day forecast looks really nice with lows from 49F to 61F (9.4C to 16C) and highs from 78F to 84F (25.6C to 29C).

Ugh 98F = 36.7C right now in my part of San Antonio with another couple of hours for it to possibly get hotter. Can't believe there's a real shot of hitting 100F = 38C today in late October FML. Official airport temp is only 96F but the heat island effect adds some for my area. What I would give for 4C right now. Though definitely wouldn't like the -40C night time temps you guys up north will be dealing with in winter.

Pretty much lol. Ugh October is supposed to be the really nice month of the year here, and it was for the most part until yesterday, today, and the next week to come. Funniest part is we actually had a "cold" front blow in yesterday so the air isn't too humid yet with a dry north wind. But tomorrow the wind direction changes back to the south so we get summer level humidity from the Gulf flow back for a week or so before the weather gets nice again for Halloween. A few days ago we had mid 70s (say 24C) with low humidity and nice morning temperatures around 45F (7C) which felt amazing.

At least we might get some desperately needed rain starting Monday thanks to the hurricane in western Mexico. Though the double hurricane that hit western Mexico a couple of weeks ago on gave us about 0.8 inches = 2 cm when we were initially forecasts to have 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm).

temps all this week will be around 7C but we will see some cold nights with temps near -6C. There is a chance of snow flurries as well.

0C right now. Been snowing for past few days, we get snow in the morning then it melts throughout the day. Matter of time until it stays though. I moved my snowblower to the garage and I'm pretty much ready. I secretly hope for a big snow dump soon, like several feet. I never really got to fully test my snow blower last year since I bought it AFTER our first snow dump.

Finally got our first serious cold front of the season, with the high forecast to be 44F = 7C tomorrow. It has dropped 40F = 22.2C in the last few hours after being 84F = 29C and humid as hell earlier.

and we are getting our first snow flurries. very light for now but they are calling for up to 3cm overnight. It won't stay but it is a taste of what's to come.
