90-95F past two days thru Friday. At least the dew point dropped below 70F, it was getting pretty miserable.

Heat wave is now over. 8C and raining. Though it's suppose to warm up tomorrow but also not be retarded hot. Might actually be able to get some stuff done outside!

Heat wave still ongoing here. 38C right now, will be 40C by 5PM probably. Also of the four longest streaks of consecutive 100F+ (=38C+) days ever recorded in San Antonio, three of them have been this summer. Including the one we're mired in right now.

Most consecutive days of 100+ in San Antonio
  1. 23 days in 2023 (July/August)
  2. 21 days in 1962
  3. 16 days in 2023 (July)
  4. 15 days and counting in 2023 (August/September) as of September 7th

Summer is over here. A bit cooler, some much needed showers...we're still WAY behind our average rainfall...but I'll take whatever we can get.

Looks like our hottest days are over for the year. A/C is off, sliders and windows open, really pleasant out.

Just checked my weather station, and the highest temp at my house this year is ..

8C and pouring rain, really cold out. Wore my winter coat in fact. 8C and dry is not so bad but when it's raining it just makes it that much colder.

As a side note The Weather Network updated their site and it's crap now. It has the windows 10 look and feel, with lot of wasted space and you have to scroll a lot to get information that used to all be available on one screen. I don't get why that trend is so popular with UX design now days.

Low to mid 70's during the day with dips into the 40's at night. I'm not ready for cooler weather and shorter days.

Weather has cooled a bit here but still nastily humid beyond 4 pm. Technically don't need to run the aircon in this weather but it's muggy and I must thus use it otherwise I feel clammy all over.

Ugh our high is supposed to be 86-89 this time of year but no, we're still going to be flirting with 100s in this never ending summer.

Boohoo. As has been the case recently, our average highs drop by 10-15F in just two weeks. At least it's still warm enough to do some outdoor paining that I had to push off.
