The FUCK is with all the commie units in this thread? I thought everyone here was a red blooded 'Murican.
There are people on here from other parts of the world (who all use metric). Some of us here are trained scientist/engineers who've used metric exclusively in our jobs. I go back and forth - mostly for fun and to keep up my knowledge a bit.

32C right now. Pretty crazy for September.

I just went to do some errands and sweating just from being outside for a bit. It feels like middle of July. Hard to complain though considering in a month from now there will probably be snow on the ground. I winterized my hose and put my portable AC unit away since it was in the garage and didn't want it staying there in winter. Now I wish I had kept it in there since I've been doing work in the garage. It's not insulated at all yet though so it did not do much good. The heat from the roof just radiates inside. If I had room to store my firewood in there it would be a good spot, it would basically act as a kiln.

We have had a little bit of an unseasonal heat wave here in the late stages of summer - today was like 90 with a dew point near 70 and 59% humidity. Felt like 99-100. Ugh. So annoying. I can deal with that for a few days, but if that was for months at a time? Hell, you could pick up NYC and plop it down where the weather is more hot and more humid than that for weeks in a row, I'd be like, nice to visit, not to live.

It's suffocating ugly heat and you can only be cool by being inside A/C or in water. Just nasty.

heat wave incoming later this week. I'm beginning to understand why some people have summer homes in more moderate climate areas.

It got fckn chilly last night. I actually had to put a blanket on the bed and close the bedroom window! I guess summer's over.

I first came to know about that when I was a kid and temps were far better then. Just goes to show that some people couldn't deal with mild discomfort even way back in the 80s. Of course, now it's a necessity and only the filthy rich can afford to keep two homes.
