Was around 15ish today, I didn't check but was in shorts. It's 8 now. Snow is almost gone. We didn't get a lot this year so if this keeps up it might actually be all gone before May.

sky gods decided to have diarrhea the past 3 days and I slipped on some ice this morning going out to the car. My lunch pack took the force of my fall. my nice sandwich became an unintended panini with a bowl indent of my ass cheek but things could have been worse.

Woah just checked and it's 26C right now. Of course I'm stuck at work lol.

I only thought of this now, but would be cool to setup my gopro in my truck pointed at the parking lot snow hill and do a time lapse of it melting. I imagine it has shrunk quite a lot today.

Still very warm out. 15C right now but was 20C most of the day. Almost all the snow is gone. I just got home and snow blowed some of it just to spread it around more. Kinda funny to be using the snow blower in shorts and tshirt lol. I think within a week it will be all gone unless we get another storm. The weather at this time of year is very unpredictable so I wouldn't be that surprised. :p Suppose to drop in temp and even snow by Tuesday, but it's still going to be in the positives so still warm enough for snow to melt. Any snow we do get will probably melt right away.

I may have messed up the lawn by doing that though... perhaps I should have left it alone or used a shovel.

Rainy and cold here too, pretty lousy. Enjoyed the warm weather while it lasted, but it never last long.

On the plus side, almost all the snow in the front yard is gone now. The back has not changed much.

Same as yesterday, some brief sun that'll push the temp up a couple of degrees. Next couple of weeks will be cooler than the previous two weeks - so, seasonally normal.

Back to our regularly scheduled winter. Ground is now back to being covered with snow. Only like 1cm though and it seems to concrete driveway retained heat from the warm days since the snow is melted on the driveway, it's only the grass and house roofs that have snow.

Only -3C right now so still warmish.

Yeah.... we didn't even HAVE "winter" in Connecticut this year.... except for about 3 cold days (literally) it went straight from late-fall weather right to early spring.

At no point did we have even a coating of snow on the roads near the coast.

51f today and mostly cloudy, with a gusty chilly NW wind. :( (I have a new gravel-bicycle and wanted to go riding too!)

Hmm, so in 5 years Connecticut going to be a new destination for 'snow birds' from northern New England !!

-5C and was snowing earlier but it stopped. Just windy now. Working from home, I should probably go clear solar panels on my break since I'm running my heater off them right now. At least at this time of year there's more light so even if it's cold I can still generate more power.

It was in the double digits all the time I was on night shift. Off work now, and it dropped. Always seems to be how it goes.

-2 right now with -6 windchill. Feels more like -30 to me though, it's a cold that goes right through you. We had a mini ice storm or something going on and lost power to half the town for several hours last night. I couldn't sleep since I was still in night shift mode and saw a big flash outside and power went on and off several times and each time it came back I would see the flash again. So recloser at the sub station must have been going off then locked out because of the fault nearby. Called hydro to let them know so they at least get a general idea where to look.

That kept me up a little more as my server UPS is only good for maybe 2 hours so I manually switched it to solar, but then at one point around 7am or so hydro came back and as I was transferring the power it went out again and was out till like 10am. Fun night/morning.

With all that ended up sleeping in till like 4pm lol. The storm is done but holy crap it's freezing out there. If feels like we're not really going to get summer this year. We get a few nice days then it goes back to winter.

To think I was freezing a week or so ago, and now we're in a heat wave! 29C right now. Can't complain though... nice to finally be able to wear shorts and no coat.

I just jurry rigged my portable AC unit in my garage so I can try to cool it down a bit in there to get some work done. it's not insulated at all in there so might not do much but it will at least help a bit until I get it properly insulated and sealed.
