I probably wouldn't mind the heat that much if I had a sweaty girlfriend to cling to![]()
Peaked at 108F today.106F currently. It dried out for a few days though the chance of rain increases in a couple days. So far, the monsoons have been a bust. There have been a few strong, very isolated storms that made more headlines than rain. If this continues, we're right back into extreme drought.
Only got to 105 here. But we made up for the heat by getting 0.17 inches of rain in July and the forecast has a 24% chance of rain on August 15th!106F currently. Affording isn't the real issue but rather the upkeep...If he could afford one you think he'd be here with us?
You just need to let your...d*ck drag on the ground behind you when you walk around. Teh wimmenz will take notice. Trust me.Affording isn't the real issue but rather the upkeep...
My two choices are, spend the rest of my life here all alone or retreat to a beautiful countryside with a nice girl but give up all tech because there might be no electricity and no internet there.
Third one, where a woman with a job suddenly materializes in front of me and tells me that she can't imagine her life without me, is NOT happening. Well, at least, based on my 42 years of life experience.
Looks like a storm with severe hail and possible tornado is headed this way. It's only halfway through the state though so it will be a while before it gets here. Maybe the mountains will weaken it or it will brush to our south or north. It looks like it's merging with another storm.
According to my sister, bill gate created this storm.![]()
Ugh in the San Antonio area we're not seeing any hope of rain until the 17th or so. Just gonna be a straight 104-105 until then. Except today I guess since it's 106. Getting really tired of these extended stretches of 104+ which were unheard of in San Antonio until this year. Even the summer of 2011 which the corporate media blamed for beef prices shooting to hell (and never coming back down) didn't have these kind of extended stretches of 104+ like we're seeing this year.Getting drier and drier. Tomorrow morning is the first imminent chance of rain in weeks. If it doesn't pan out, we get another uninterrupted week of dryness. At least it's not hitting 100 F today like it has.
Bill Gates - if you're reading this, Texas needs you. k?

We had a bit of a cooldown too; only got to 104F = 40C today in San Antonio. All of August so far has been very nice here. 23C - 25C everyday with varying amounts of humidity. We are seeing rain about once a week.
So far, it has been one of the best summers in decades here.
