The crystaline structure of the cable will boost the lower voltage and lower the overvolt

Some years ago I saw a website of a guy with literally racks of car batteries as power source for his home theatre. I think something like 200.

Audiotruth, could you please comment on the chrystaline structure theory. I would like to know more about the underlying science.

Racks of batteries, LOL. How amateurish. Audiotruth and Cheez would never fall for something like that.

It's still an UPS / battery backup. Sure it can be used for audio, but with terrible sound I would imagine. It's not designed for audiophile, otherwise everyone (people that have money) would use that. The thing is, AudioTruth isn't the only person stated this. There are a lot of other folks out there experienced downgrade in sound with the use of fancy (and expensive) UPS. Young man, take your sunglasses off. ;)

Again, explain the science. Otherwise you are just smoking weed.

Hey, as long as he lives in Washington State it's perfectly legal. On the down side, it might impair his ability to listen accurately. An audiophile of Cheez caliber would never jeopardize an eargasm.

Maybe Patrick captured the Crystaline Entity from STTNG and made cables with it

Nutritional question for better hearing question.

This is directed at our local audiophile gurus, you know who you are.
I know you guys consider a good diet an essential part of maintaining and even improving your hearing capabilities.

I have noticed recently that my dogs have a much better hearing than I do especially in the highs. A quick wiki check confirmed my suspicions.

Yet all they eat is dog food.

Have you guys considered eating dog food as a mean of achieving even better hearing?

For those of you who have not seen the cable or heard about it, here is the specification / description of the White Night Power 5m that we have been discussing on.

    White Night power 5m

    Designed for: Amplifiers, power distributors

White Night is our biggest and most powerful cable with 1-stage crystal cleaning which gives the biggest effect in sound.

It destroys AC noise which gives bigger bass with a pitch black background while increasing clarity and transparency. White Night's job is to maximize contrast ratio. It was designed to be used in front of our other power cables to get maximum performance.

White Night uses 5 conductors for increased cleaning area. The conductors are also much thicker than our other cables. Normally when thickening gauge size of the cable, it becomes unbearably slow, smeared and muddy with loss of clarity and detail, but we have solved this with our Alien crystal formula that dampens the conductors to give both super large bass with ultra clarity and speed.

    Original price: $25,000
    Introductory offer: $2,500

    Note: 2 months building time

1 USED in stock for immediate delivery: $2,000 (US plugs)

    Features

    • 5 meter long
    • 5x 13awg solid core copper conductors
    • 100% coverage thick aluminum shield
    • Alien crystal formula to reject RFI/EMI and clean noise
    • Whitewood airy tree fibers
    • Furutech FI-11M (Cu) plugs

Patrick is currently working on a shorter and modified version of the White Night Powa with the outlet on the other end.

My current plan is to get one of these. Use the existing stock power cords that power my equipment (HTPC, TV, Focal speakers, subwoofer). I won't have any money left then. Patrick, what power cables should I get to power these items?? Would Wireworld Stratus 5 or Aurora 5 do? What would you do if you were me?

    Thanks a tank,

    cheez

Definitely go with stock cables. Right now I'm using White Night power cable from wall to power strip, and stock cables to studio monitors. I haven't felt the need to upgrade the stock cables yet, the White Night is that good.

Wow that's awesome. Well this is good cause no need to worry about buying the powerstrip and other aftermarket power cables... more money saving **. This sounds like a very efficient and effective setup. Woohoooe wee weee nice!

I might still pickup several Wireworld Status power cords for "extra dressing" then.:D Make em look pretty, and great for photoshoot.

With stock cables, I will have to do some wire management then. Don't want them placed too close to each other.

Patrick, please keep me updated. You can send update here, or at youtube via PM. I will send you my personal email address too later.

    thanks,

    cheez

Epic thread, I just can't get enough.

Back on topic, audiophile gurus, What do you guys use to keep your tympanic membrane in top physical shape? Yes diet is important but how about hear cleaning kits, wax removal systems, hearing test study kits and the likes?

but depending on the quality of the batteries used, you may not get the best cleaning from it.

In the 1950s, most knew cigarette smoking increased health. After all, advertising proved it. When 1964 science proved, beyond doubt, that cigarettes kill, a majority got angry at science. After all, hearsay proved cigarettes increased health. Science must be wrong.

My father would love you. He loved manipulating the most naive with hearsay, advertising, and outright lies. His biggest complaint was the FTC. They took the fun out of it. FTC wanted advertising to tell the truth.

No matter how much your cables 'clean' that power, then the amp converts that power to much more 'dirty' voltages. Did they forget to mention that? Cleanest AC power is first converted even to high voltage sharp spikes. And then power is 'cleaned' by circuits far superior to anything you might put on a power cord.

Any 'cleaning' on a power cord is first completely undone to eventually make amp power 'cleaner'. Did advertising forget to mention that? Of course. The majority are so naive as to believe advertising and myths rather than basic science. Then spend $2000 on a power cord that is electrically equivalent to $3 power cords. Scams are that easy to promote.

Why did they not use that miracle power cord inside the amp? Because amp designers use science - not advertising myths.

If a power cord did any filtering, then you were posting dB numbers for various frequencies. No specification numbers? Then it is usually a scam.

Just like with cigarettes, I expect you will get angry rather than learn facts. Just remember why my father would have loved you. You make life fun.

Is this a big joke? Did I miss the punchline? So confused...

You lost me at how many watts the speakers had...

The Focals don't even have a Class A amp so the transducers are getting super dirty filthy power. That is impacting micro and macrodetail as well as holographic imaging.

Whoever is creating these "Cheez" and "AudioTruth" parody posts is a comedic genius. Keep it up!

I can't wait for one of them to find a way to replace the air around their stereo systems with 100% Nitrogen or something to reduce the potential impact of "foreign contaminants" to their precious Vinyl :)

The audiophile spends $2000 on a power cable, and gets years worth of eargasms, while the skeptic spends years writing about power cables not giving eargasms. This is bad logic.

For audiophiles, cables making a difference is as obvious as Earth being round. Skeptics who claimed that Earth was flat, are the same skeptics today who claim cables make no difference. These types of skeptics have already made up their minds from the beginning, and they aren't open to the possibility that they could be wrong. In the future, this kind of unhealthy skepticism will be considered as a mental disorder, and there will even be mental institutions for them.

Air and humidity makes a difference to the sound, but only subtle. The audio system sounds different in the summer and winter.

The villainous flat earthers were eventually laid to waste, mathematics and astronomy were the sword of their undoing. What weapon will the audiophiles use to cast the skeptics asunder? EARGASMS. The audiophiles will unleash a torrent upon the shriveled and burnt corpses of the non believers. The day of reckoning comes, skeptics.

So....The audiophiles are going to give us all eargasms? I think I may have seen a video of this, of course the guy really didn't LOOK like an audiophile.
