Law of Armed Conflict, designates who is a valid target and when, the handling of POWs, that sort of thing.Ok I have to ask what LOAC training means in this context. At my work LOAC stands for Loss of Attitude Control and is what happens when your space vehicle starts to tumble leading to loss of communication and for solar powered vehicles loss of power potentially permanently if your drain the batteries all the way.
(LOACs that I had to help save happened to me enough times while I was working missions that I use the term in my PS gamer tag)
Sounds more like Rules of Engagement, but I'm no expert.Does LOAC teach when it is appropriate to choke to kill vs disable?
Under LOAC it is forbidden to:
- Attack civilians
- Commit murder or torture
- Forcibly displace civilians
- Attack hospitals, ambulances and health-care workers
- Use human shields
- Misuse the Red Crystal, Red Cross and Red Crescent
- Interfere with the delivery of humanitarian aid
Once a Marine always a Marine. So we’ve been told
Breaking news, grand jury indicted him
I personally think both cases should be thrown out as justified/accidental.
I will answer your question by asking one and giving another example.I saw this while reading the news today and I was wondering what the thoughts were on this killing opposed to the Penny case.

WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) -- The man accused in the deadly subway stabbing of a passenger in Brooklyn was released without bail on Thursday afternoon.
Jordan Williams, 20, was charged Wednesday with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in the death of 36-year-old Devictor Ouedraogo on a J train Tuesday night.
The Brooklyn District Attorney's Office had asked for $100,000 bail, but the judge told Williams, "I have every reason to believe you will fight this case."
Police are reviewing video Ouedraogo, who is believed to be homeless, harassing subway riders.
it's an accident because the victim was black, was poor, and being a nuisance. The first two are bad enough, but scaring white people?I will answer your question by asking one and giving another example.
In what universe can a well trained person applying a rear naked choke for 15 minutes killing someone be deemed an accident?
Example: Let's say you and I were in a public pool and you were going around grabbing the asses of various girls. I dunk your head under the water to get you to stop assaulting people. But instead of a simple dunk I hold you under for 15 minutes and you drown. I doubt anyone would say your death was an accident.
I saw this while reading the news today and I was wondering what the thoughts were on this killing opposed to the Penny case.

that's because only a terrible person would think that about Neely, and you have shown you are a terrible person time and time again.
I know you dislike PCGeek, but you don't get to decide that anyone who disagrees with you on a particular issue is "a terrible person." And for the record, I am awaiting further evidence to form a definite opinion about the Neely case, so this isn't about me. It's more about you acting like a douche, which is undoubtedly the result of a failure to control your emotions.
I appreciate you commenting on a topic you're completely ignorant on by your own admittance.
As far as PC geek, anybody who has said the shit he has said and consistently votes for the Republican platform and will continue to do so for the future, is a terrible person.
There were many people in Nazi Germany and other fascist countries and dictatorships who had families, who had pets, who went grocery shopping who coached soccer teams, who seems like nice people on the surface. But they voted for evil. They enabled evil. They continued to support evil. That is him in a nutshell.
So let's agree to disagree, I think people that vote for evil constantly and find so many ways to defend it are fucking terrible people. And people that call this an accident and this guy should get off clean. They are especially fucking terrible people.
Hey if realizing what thousands of years of history have taught us about the reality of human nature, makes me a douche, I'm a fucking giant douche.
Now feel free to read about this case about a man who murdered someone in cold blood for nearly 15 minutes and the guy you are defending as not so bad is saying it's an accident. Fuck off.
Signed,
A proud and aware douchebag
We'll all be much safer once we allow lawless vigilantes to extrajudicially execute "undesirables" at will. This is the only way to ensure safety and law and order.
