At least we now know what's really important to John McCain.

Holding press conferences demanding answers about Benghazi while skipping classified briefings on Benghazi???

When CNN approached McCain in a Capitol hallway Thursday morning, the senator refused to comment about why he missed the briefing, which was conducted by top diplomatic, military and counter-terrorism officials. Instead, McCain got testy when pressed to say why he wasn't there.

"I have no comment about my schedule and I'm not going to comment on how I spend my time to the media," McCain said.

Asked why he wouldn't comment, McCain grew agitated: "Because I have the right as a senator to have no comment and who the hell are you to tell me I can or not?"

When CNN noted that McCain had missed a key meeting on a subject the senator has been intensely upset about, McCain said, "I'm upset that you keep badgering me."

And McCain was actually even with Obama for awhile back in 2008. Good thing this moron never became President.

John McCain is wrong BUT Susan Rice was part of the coverup and its rumored she could be replacing Hillary Clinton. This explains why many are attacking her and obama was so defensive of her to McCain

Later on, John McCain was found outside yelling at a cloud....

Right there with Biden....

Honestly I see alot of fake angst here....McCain is just saying Rice is a shitty choice given she lied in her position and was acting like a clown...how she is even being considered for ascention now given her recent ridiculous behavior in the wake of such a tragedy is pretty laughable...either it is pointing to obama not giving a shit because he doesn't have to get reelected or it is yet another sign of how ridiculous this administration is.

All I see is an angry old man pissed off at the world for not giving him the respect, adulation and homage he feels he is due.

He's washed up. He's old news. He's a frustrated geezer in need of a purpose in life. He's got this pent up desire to be all he can be, little realizing that he already WAS all he could be. He's brought new life and definition to the phrase "punch drunk".

Don't get me wrong, I think he's a piece of entertainment that money can't buy, so I enjoy his antics whenever possible. However, to take him seriously is a mistake only a batshit crazy wingnut fundie would make.

He and Gingrich should team up and take their show on the road and make a huge chunk of change doing a Laurel and Hardy - Abbot and Costello tribute national circuit.

Always assert facts not in evidence to make a convincing conspiracy theory- that there actually is a cover-up of nothing at all.

mcCaine knows the obama mob and willing accomplices are a bunch of liars and obfuscators. They're behind closed doors now drumming up the next media action line and sound bite for all you obama chipmunks to swallow.

How many in here thinks we don't need an answer about what happened in Benghazi?

I think they owe the US an answer... You all should too.

According to a Democratic aide on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, only three of the eight GOP members of the committee attended the two hour briefing that ran from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET. By contrast, seven of the nine Democratic members were there.

Why try to learn facts when you have a gut feeling that Obama is bad?

This is what we call "Banging the table" and "Screaming lound" when your arguments have no substance. I mean no disrespect for the Americans who died while serving the country overseas, but it seems quite obvious to me that Suzan Rice is not responsible for either of the followings:

1) Death of 4 Americans
2) Bizarre behaviors of those juvenile-adults in American intelligence force

I don't know what McCain is trying to accomplish here.

Really then show me how she has acted credible in this situation?

again, even the media is latching on to this story, and barring some catastrophy elsewhere it isn't going away....

She has to answer for her lies and promoting her really isn't the answer.

Where the hell was McCain's outrage when the House GOP like Paul Ryan voted to cut hundreds of millions of dollars from the state department's request for embassy security. Why isn't he calling for hearings on that?

You mean reporting exactly word for word the information she received from the CIA?

Obama covered up terrorist attacks and you guys are worried about McCain? Classic

Where's the evidence? If there were ANY credible evidence the Rightwing Zealots would have skewered President Obama's ass weeks ago to get MR. 47% in office.

The dems don't care. It's only 4 lives, two of which were ex mil, so the lives of those two are worth even less to your average lib.

Benghazi also points out potential flaws in the current admin and acknowledging that is just not going to happen. The Obama devotees are too engaged in worshiping him to allow anything to hinder that worship.

To the subject at hand, Susan Rice was the designated chump and was told to go out and preach the admin line about that stupid movie trailer being the cause. She very well may have not been given any more info about the real nature of the attack.

As to the rep senators not attending the hearings, why should they? The dems run the show in the senate and they'll make sure nothing of any value comes out of the hearings. They'll be a complete waste of time.

As to McCain, he's an old barking dog who's time has passed. He ran a completely inept campaign against Obama and now we're stuck with the consequences of that for another four years.

Watching McCains deterioration these last few years has been sad. Whether its Alzheimers, or just the deterioration that occurs with age, McCain has just become a joke amongst even Republicans. They trot him out from time to time on "national security" issues because, apparently, you become an expert if you served in the military and spent 5 and half years as a pow.

Its the enormous sacrifice that McCain made and the torture that he underwent that prevents people from critiziing him as much as they could.

I personally feel he should graciously retire so he can be celebrated and thanked for what he has done for America, before the sad final years rewrite the entire history of his life.
