Jimmy Johns is worse than Subway.

I wish they had chewbakka bread like this.

Subway's the worst of the sandwich chains, period. I don't trust the opinions of anyone who says otherwise, let alone actually LIKES their "food".

I get sick when I eat Subway. I only went to 1 Jimmy Johns and I thought it was OK. It was better than Subway. Their bread was really good. It was soft and tasty.

JJ's is better than subway by far. i eat there for lunch almost every day. #1 ez on the mayo, jalapeno chips & water for me!

Never had Jimmy Johns, but since it's not a chain that's in Cali I already know it sucks. Cali has bar none the best places to eat.

Local non franchise shops are the best, hands down. If I had to go with a franchise I would go with Port of Subs (west coast chain). They have the best bread and ingredients out of all. Subway is the lowest of the low. It is to the sandwich business what hotdogs are to the meat business. Lips and assholes.

I've had great subs from Jimmy Johns, just like I've had terribly shitty and very good burgers from Whataburger, depending on which one I go to.

I miss Wegman's.

I do too. 🙁 Every time I go into a Kroger, Publix or Star Mart (or insert other random grocery store chain that I've only seen down here), I just wish I was in Wegman's instead. Better prices, more stuff, and just all around better.

EDIT:

WaWa's good, and probably the best of the chains, but it doesn't beat a good sub shop sub.

How does Sheetz compare to WaWa? They're fairly similar establishment-wise, right?

The only place Subway beats is Blimpie. Jimmy Johns, Firehouse, Pot Bellys, Quiznos, and Schlotzskys are better than Subway by miles.

This sort of thing is why I like atot. Of the above, I've only heard of Subway and Quiznos. My knowledge of (fast food places? sandwich chains?) has increased exponentially.

Keep it up, atot. Good work!

Sheetz has good hot food like burgers. Nothing gourmet, but they come up with interesting creations, at a decent price. For subs I prefer WaWa, but if I'm on a road trip, and want something to eat, Sheetz is always a welcomed sight.

Just to add to what has already been said, the only good thing about WaWa is their subs, and it is really their sweet peppers that makes them so amazing. Sheetz has horrible subs, the bread has a "plastic" feel to it, but everything else is good.

Jesus. Subway is the worst sandwich chain. Port of Subs is pretty much if you took everything about Subway and made it 10% better, which is still terrible. I can't figure out how so many of you have been to terrible Jimmy John's. Every one in Vegas has been consistently good. Soft chewy bread, better quality ingredients, reasonably priced, and they're fast as fuck--you don't get stuck in line behind some mouth breather at Subway trying to figure out how many damn toppings he wants on his sub.

Potbelly's delivers to my workplace, so I suppose I should try them for lunch one day. Subway and Jimmy Johns are OK but I do have to say, I was very disappointed in Firehouse subs the one time I went. Reading the rave reviews it got, I expected much, much more.

Also, LOL at yet another ATOT "bash the chain" thread. We have all the usual suspects chiming in, I see.
