Jimmy Johns is worse than Subway.

shortylickens

No Lifer
I didnt even think that was possible.

The bread was carved from rock hard french loaves. The lettuce was that finely shredded crap and tasted awful. The cheese tasted and looked like the meat, either that or there was no cheese. They forgot the mayo and mustard (you cant see exactly what they're doing or yell out corrections). The chips were the super dried out, EXTRA crispy kind. I cut my cheek on them.
Soda was mostly water, ice was the shaved kind and melted instantly, further watering down the soda.

If they improved their quality 100 percent I could safely never go back and still not miss anything.

The Jimmy John's near me is pretty good, definitely the best sub franchise that we have. Don't know about your place but for us, even the day old bread is nice and soft. Though to be fair, they are headquartered in my town.

you are so 100% wrong.

jimmy johns is MMUUCCHHH better and their bread is a major reason why. you must have gone to one shitty place. they also put much more meat on their subs than subway and actually carve it off the block of meat there, it's not sitting around in a bin pre-cut.

and their bbq chips own.

so much fail in your post shorty wtf...

I agree--it is worse.

same damn quality, more expensive. Though, i'd put them about even. still better than the shit that is Quizno's.

It's hit and miss for all fast food joints, IMO. I've been to McDonalds where I got a horrible burger, but I've been to some where it was served up piping hot.
You should obviously continue going to Subway for your meat flavored protein products.
This.

I typically get a Club Lulu on wheat, no tomato, add cheese! Wh0ot!1!

Dammit, now I have to go to Jimmy John's for lunch. Mmmmm... Get me a #9, no mayo and a loaf of day old bread and I'm set.

Pre-emptive: I think Subway is meh.

Jimmy Johns is the WORST sandwich place out there. It's absolutely horrible.

The only place Subway beats is Blimpie. Jimmy Johns, Firehouse, Pot Bellys, Quiznos, and Schlotzskys are better than Subway by miles.

Quiznos is the best place I've been to. JJ and Subway are a hit or miss.. but I've had good luck with Quiznos*.

I only eat veggie sandwich.. so my opinion has a narrow reach.

i don't even know you anymore.

Am pretty sure you never did.

Do you know how I like sammiches at home?

Those round flats with sweet mustard and meat from the Harris Teeter deli when I'm feeling lazy.
OR, a huge loaf filled with junk and sliced into smaller sections, for long term eating.

I slice it down the middle and pile it high with goodies. Then when I feel like eating I cut off two inches at a time.

The one by us is pretty good as well. I would have called and complained. They're not supposed to be like that at all.

In these parts the three main chain options are Subway (terrible), Jimmy Johns (worse than Subway), and Port o Subs (vomit in a wrapper). For some reason people rave about Jimmy Johns and on the rare occasion that I've eaten at one I've been left with the feeling of having rather had Subway.

I like Subway, but I go expecting a Subway sub, not a real sub. It's like comparing a veggie burger to a real burger. Both are good, but using one as a replacement for the other will inevitably lead to disappointment.

I also like Quiznos, but they're expensive for what you get. I've never seen Jimmy Johns...

Jimmy John's is turrible. I'm ok with Subway and like the little Pot Belly's subs. Mmmm.

I'm ok with Quiznos and Blimpie too, but haven't had them any time recent (or JJ's for that matter). Quiznos just over charges.

that is exactly what i thought the first time i had it. i simply do not understand the hardon people have for it.
