Ugh. Who thinks it's funny just because it references sex? I don't. Who thinks it's funny simply because it references sex in a way more explicit than you might be comfortable exposing a child to? I don't. Who thinks it's "mature" or "taboo" simply because it's inappropriate for a younger child? I don't.* Who thinks it has any other joke or gag that makes it funny? I don't. Who here thinks it was an original idea? I don't.

What's left to laugh about?
"Oh man! It looks like a warning label! That's sooo funny!"
"Oh man! It looks like a Skittles commercial! That's sooo funny!"
🙄

*on the contrary, I specifically think it's as immature as a stereotypical fart joke with a sexual slant and a prime example of immature humor. Maturing from amusing yourself with simple kiddie gross-out humor to tween-level sexual humor is still pretty low on the maturity scale. It like the PG-13 kiddies thinking that they are "mature" just because they aren't stuck making PG jokes and then maturing into adults and continuing to think PG-13 jokes are the pinnacle of maturity. I'm not saying adults should be at R, or XXX level "jokes." I'm saying that adults should no longer think it's funny for the "taboo" aspect and should have lost interest in such unsophisticated humor (truly matured). Note: I will laugh at a good LOLCAT or an amusing sexual reference/observation, so I'm not talking about that kind of sophistication. I'm talking about not being amused by a simple sexual reference for its crudeness alone with no other redeeming qualities.

OK you're not offended, it is just your poor sense of humor, I get it. Pigeon-holed.

What part of it was funny? I'd say that laughing at things that aren't funny is as bad as not laughing at something that genuinely is funny when gauging someone's sense of humor.

...Who the hell cares if its mature or not?
Hey: I'm not the one who asked. I only answered.

A mature adult can still find immature humor to be just that, humorous. Just because one becomes more educated and mature doesn't mean you have to abandon all life and completely refrain from even producing a chuckle at something so pedestrian and immature and "low-class" as a crude sexual joke.
That's not what I'm saying. ask yourself: Where was the "joke?" I still find lots of childish things funny but I no longer giggle with glee when I see someone cover their face and the reveal it with "peek-a-boo!" either. There was a time when I thought it was hilarious that my friend went around saying "suck my dictionary" until I grew up and realized that saying "dick" wasn't a big deal and pretending to was even less of a big deal.

The question was "Who thinks it's funny simply because it references sex in a way more explicit than you might be comfortable exposing a child to?" The answer is: You.

What, do you refuse to hang out with certain people simply because they laugh at such jokes? Is that your way about life?
I do judge people, yes. Do you have NO discretion when it comes to choosing your friends? Good luck.

Wait, don't answer, of course it is. Both of you two probably look down your noses at anyone who shows a hint of normalcy in any given social situation. Do you correct grammar goofs during actual conversations, by chance? I suspect so.
You do realize that his signature is meant to draw out the overly-sensitive types who react poorly to being corrected and not to actually promote himself as a grammar-nazi, like another member here once did and was often attacked for. Those attacking him for it reveal themselves to the wrong person and it is hilarious to me that a sig can have that effect. Me? I appreciate being corrected so that I can be more informed.

Ridicule others when they slip up doing something so obviously mundane and simple that they must be an uneducated and ignorant moron, because of course even a child would understand so why can't they?
Why can't you just understand that some people don't find the same things funny and that they may have reason to back up their opinion?

Oh, I get it! I finally get it! You two are providing your own brand of humor in this thread; instead of providing humor through jpegs, gifs, and video clips, you do it by producing a parody of the righteous and upper-class folks who are always disgusted by the unwashed masses!

:awe:

That's your gig, right? It's gotta be.
Of course you are being facetious and not actually saying that's our schtick-BTW, this topic had nothing to do with my brother and I have no idea why you are dragging him into this-so you must be trying to criticize us by saying that describes us. I should point out that I have never made over $10.35 an hour my entire life and we were raised on welfare. That's practically poverty and hardly "upper-class."

This thread is full of laughs for me and I firmly believe it would be better without that crap diluting it. As for this crap? Well: He asked for it.

For what it's worth I didn't find the skittles commercial funny either. It was just a couple people acting out a very obvious and unoriginal joke.

[snipped the destrekor-level wall of text]

Hey, you make more than I do! 1%er! 🙁

FWIW, I only dragged your brother in to it (if you could call any of this "it" and also reference any "dragging" event) because you two do just about the same thing, repeatedly, throughout this thread.

I don't care to respond to every response-point, as almost that entire post was borderline facetious (only borderline 😉). Picking friends is one thing, and we all have our limits as to "how low" we'll stoop, if you will, but the line in the sand I referenced -- of which I don't cross -- was going far beyond snobby classism. They don't routinely speak English as if they are a representative of the ultimate pinnacle of eloquence and mastery? WE MUSTN'T BE SEEN TOGETHER!

Honestly, can't remember which one of you is the worst offender of grammar nazi trolling (if not both), but the constant presence of that, nitpicking of reality v. false pretenses and/or inaccuracies, and your diatribe regarding apparent maturity and appreciation of immature humor -- well, every man has their breaking point. P

I actually kind of found it offensively terrible. I could see the humor in it, if they went about it better. But it's just like C-level comedy acting: good ideas, terrible execution/editing/acting ability.

Then again, I had it on mute. 😛

I can appreciate and enjoy immature humor, as long as it has quality production levels. Otherwise, I'm laughing or crying at the team behind the product, not the subject matter.

..

back to the regularly scheduled reposts of funnay images found on image repost sites! I'm too lazy to scour those.

I can't imagine why...

Just so I can properly pigeon-hole you, do you find the overt sexual nature of it morally repulsive, do you think the actors did a bad job, do you think someone in the production did a bad job, did you think the editing was off, maybe the lighting or costumes, or do you just not have a sense of humor?

Feel free to give me a write-in response if you feel like I left something out.
It's just unbelievably fucking stupid and juvenile. Do I need another reason to hate it, Beavis?

I thought the acting was fine. I even liked the atmosphere because it reminded me of Napoleon Dynamite. The guy not only looks like Aaron Ruell, but Aaron has stared in his own productions and has even done edgy commercial stuff for Coke/Powerade that was rejected/banned (I liked some of those). The concept was my issue.

FWIW, I only made $10 an hour for the last year. 🙁

One of our best friends is dyslexic and routinely spells the word NO, "nall," among many more egregious misspellings. Obviously, we don't hold that against him.

Edit: Found it!

But... but... but... it can't be "juvenile." It has SEX in it! 🙄

Calling that an "idea" is giving it too much credit. It's definitely not what I would call a "good idea." I admit that I probably would have thought it was a good idea when I was 15 years old.
