Yeah, I was figuring this instance was not a self-ownage but rather a baby conceived while the Soldier was home on leave.

As far as "just happening to have ovulated" - leave can be like two or three weeks in a row. Not that difficult to imagine a woman having her monthly egg drop sometime during that time-frame.
