The comments after the picture just aren't funny. Just a couple of stupid kids with poor grammar going on and on...
The reason MOST people know about Titanic is because of the movie, not because they know their history. And the news panders to the lowest common denominator. Not to mention the fact James Cameron took such creative license with reality that you could now say its more of a fantasy story than anything else.
