there's no such thing. i correct people every time i hear that excuse. i tell them there's no such thing as "big boned," unless they have a serious, terminal, pathological bone condition.

I think your sarcasm detector might be broken. :p

How many skeletons have you examined?

Some people have larger, heavier skeletons than others, even controlling for height. It's certainly not going to account for morbid obesity but I've seen variation in fresh skeletons account for 10-20 pounds of extra weight on taller men who are slightly built vs very robust.

He's a doctor, dammit. Either that or he's a passenger on the ATOT Fatty Hater Bandwagon. Or both.

He's a chiropractor. Not even a real physician is going to have much experience working with skeletons unless they have additional, specialized training in forensic anthropology.

double digits, close to 30 i'd say, after i've removed all their organs and muscle and whatnot.

also, countless x-rays...

no such thing as "big boned".

Keep peddling misinformation. You certainly know, since you've looked at close to 30 skeletons. And weighed them. And controlled them for height. And ran statistical analyses describing how skeletons vary in weight. Oh wait, chiropractors still don't practice evidence-based medicine.
