Haven't they ever played CS or DoD. Get the chick with the scoped rifle on the truck mounted MG platform.

Ah those bastages!

What a crummy way to end the season (not that I didn't call it) but it still sucks :(

Only how many months till the premier :/

It's a good cliffhanger. The Military will kick some ass of the neighbouring town bringing an end to that storyline, but it brings with it a renewed hunt for the "Terrorist".

What I wonder is how the show is going to maintain the focus on the town of Jericho once this happens? I think eventually it might have to expand out to the larger storyline of what's happening in the former US as a whole. Overall I can't really see this show lasting much more than another season or so before running out of compelling Jericho specific story lines. I think it might be difficult for the show to get past losing the Old Man though, he was one of the strongest characters on the show IMO.

But he was also one of the oldest and established actors of the show. One of the reasons I thought he'd be the one that got hit.

I slowed at the flag sceen and there are only 21 stars on it. Still not clear if this goverment is the one with the remnants of the old or if they are full of people in on the plot and the eastern group is the previous leadership.

yea, it takes a few eps in to really grab you. I went on a binge and watched the first 9 eps all at once. Real Player is required, but...get over it. ^_^

Awesome awesome show. The latest ep was sad though...and they ended it VERY badly...now i am required to watch the next ep. The plot is really interesting, it'll just get better...i hope.

My DVR stopped recoding the last 5 minutes of the show. D/L a torrent of it and finally watched it. Unlike a majority of the people here I enjoyed the way the show ended. My wife and I watch the show religiously and we got our friends hooked on it as well. Also love watching The Unit. Another good show.

In one scene in the finale the soldier was explaining to the girl that there are still some holdout "presidents" but that the Federal government was coming back together. That might be why there are 21 stars on the flag.

So there are definitely skirmishes between the various presidents but one seems to be prevailing. I hope they go a little into this storyline next season.

Jericho is a great show.

Glad to see the show is picking up. Last season got horrible towards the end. They seemed to forget about the bombs last season and focus on the small town. It was like a poor man's version of Everwood. Finally some action.

This is the best series I've seen (including Lost, 24, all the big name shows). We've enjoyed every episode and I do hope they continue on with a second season. This is my favorite genre and I think the scripts are spectacular. At one point I thought a bit too much effort was spent on the protagonist (Jake), but they seem to perhaps have toned it down, or I've forgotten.

I nearly wet myself when Hawkins (who was the man from the get go, even if he walks a bit like a duck) told what's-his-face he had access to a keyhole satellite :)
I hope they go a little into this storyline next season.
Wikipedia says the dudes who made the show said (my cousin said, etc.!) that in Season 2 there will be a civil war mentioned. How cool would that be?

Unfortunately, all the articles I read suggest it won't be back next year. I hope they're wrong.

here
"With a loss of an extensive 35 percent from beginning to end, chances are last night was the last you will ever see of Jericho."

here
"Jericho looks unlikely to return next year. In a lackluster finale, the show averaged a 2.1 adults 18-49, according to Nielsen overnights."

Glad to hear that, but where did you find that information? I can't find anything saying it has been renewed. Everything I see says we won't know until CBS announces their schedule.

No idea his name in the show...

Very pompous in HS. Guess he made (marginally) good in Hollywood though. I do recall his sister being INCREDIBLY hot though :)

So, I've seen articles that state it probably won't be back and others say it has already been renewed. Any updates?

Personally I think (edited for spoilers) killing off that one main character in the last episode was a mistake. In my opinion he was the heart and soul of the show.
