NBC will go bankrupt and shut down all of its operations. Its most recognizable franchise, "The Tonight Show", will move to Youtube along with its host, the robotic version of Jay Leno.

It's all a publicity stunt, Conan will remain with NBC in his current time slot. Jay will stay with his 10PM show until a car show is produced. All will be well in the land of make belief.

Conan has an actual "cult following" while Leno is a "General audience" guy. Conan will do fine whatever network he lands on.

Actually my "first choice" is a white guy named Jay Leno, so kindly go fuck yourself in ass and quit being a stupid ass troll. If I had built some mythical stereotype for myself Leno would be the last person I'd want hosting the Tonight Show. I'd want Chris Rock or Katt Williams, neither were mentioned. I did mention a white guy first though, and he's still my #1 pick, my #2 pick being a black female has shit to do with race and everything to do with level of funny.

you ATOT people are pathetically sad in your attempts to grasp at straws, thanks for the laughs though. But I have to go play Hold Em with a room full of white people I know, go ahead and twist that into some shit that only exists in your mind Deeko...

Oh and I'm pretty sure you said NBC should "kick Leno to the curb" and give the show to Eubanks.

I was going to suggest that this is the #1 reason you should prefer Conan, then edited it out.

When it comes right down to it, NBC recognized that they HAVE to make some changes. Leno's show isn't working in its time slot and Conan is tanking The Tonight Show's ratings.
If Leno left to go to a different network, it would hurt NBC far worse than if Conan leaves to go to a different network.
I wasn't crazy about Leno replacing Johnny Carson, but he's done a fairly decent (although not great) job with the show. I've never liked Conan's humor.

Conan can be quite good sometimes - kinda like an autistic kid. Attempting to help people get his jokes with physical gestures looks pretty stupid, though.
