Been there about 15 times. Its okay but very expensive.
I really like the Akihabara district where they sell electronics at good prices. Next time I go, I need to hit the fishing tackle stores since their JDM stuff is really good.

It looks like a scene from the Matrix or something. (even though the Matrix was supposedly in New York... I think 🙂)

the view from her apartment wasn't as nice, but it was directly facing the Tokyo Tower and it was the top floor of the 16 floor apartment building. You could see 3 temples from her room too.

Some might remember me visiting her last summer. Seeing the pic really makes me want to go back again, even though we broke up.

She and her brother just moved in to that apartment, their old place was 1 block away. The new place is $4500 a month. Apparently a lot of famous people live there.

She's moving again in 2 months to a condo their family bought across the bay.


Anyway, I really dig the picture and it goes well with the pics I have already

to be totally honest, that picture is just a SMALL fraction of the buildings in Tokyo. If you look in any direct, there's huge buildings as far as you can see

Yeah, I think it might be more expensive because they just came from a $4500 a month apartment. I will ask her today and let you guys know for sure.

WTH kind of salaries do people have over there. $4500 for a ONE bedroom apartment. What a ripoff.

I stayed in Ikebukuro and I've only seen ugly prostitutes when I was there. I didn't see any in Shinjuku.
