I got it from a random wallpaper site posted on ATOT. You can actually see my gf's apartment in the picture: Woo

Some might remember me visiting her last summer. Seeing the pic really makes me want to go back again, even though we broke up.

She and her brother just moved in to that apartment, their old place was 1 block away. The new place is $4500 a month. Apparently a lot of famous people live there.

She's moving again in 2 months to a condo their family bought across the bay.


Anyway, I really dig the picture and it goes well with the pics I have already

I never thought about it while I was there, but it was very clear at times (didn't seem to be too much pollution) but there was a fog at times. Keep in mind that the bay is extremely close

The streets are not very clean..and last time i was there it was giong really down hill...There is this street in Tokyo called Rapongi...err its been awhile so i forget how to spell it but thats how you say it. ANway when i left it was a nice street..now its full of people passing out hooker pamplets and full of strip joints...now..i am sure that appeals to some of you lol but not to me..

Going up tokyo tower is pretty cool tho.

Oh, actually they constructed a huge mall in the middle of Roppongi Hills. I believe it's VERY new, maybe 2 years at the oldest. I think that really cleaned up the area as I saw some before pics.

Anyway, it's cool that you lived so close to where I was for a month.

whoa thats good to hear..it was kinda sad to see it go down a bit since i left. Err we plan to go back in the next few years...its such a great city..i just wish i was older when i was there.

There's large portions of Tokyo where it looks very urban (much like times square but with even more neon signs, so crowded) :

Looks like Ginza and I know the other is Shibuya.

The alley that doesn't look so nice is actually not bad at all. It's just a small area between buildings that doesn't get much use, what's it supposed to look like?

And I think it's so cool to see the last 2 pics and be able to spot my ex's apartments
