You really got me there. Even from your link Sproul had a total of 2 people facing charges? LOL. Ya, that's the same as the laundry list of people convicted at Acorn.

lulz, so you *did* defend him...

It's like you just won a gold medal in Mental Gymnastics at the Special Olympics.

I still didn't defend them. Here is his claim of me defending them.

"You are right, this is nothing like ACORN. Thanks for pointing that out. This is one employee at a private company not doing his job. ACORN received government funding and had over a dozen Felony convictions."

Pointing out they are not like Acorn is defending them? At the time there was only one person in the crosshairs of the law. Since then only one has been added? Did you see the list of troubles with Acorn? Of course in the mind of Garfield that will be defending them.

Two out of how many employees? (I don't have that answer since Sproul has a history of using shell companies and changing names to hide his slimy behavior.) Now compare that to the number of ACORN employees charged out of 500,000. Then consider that Sproul has a long history of seemingly illegal actions, but has largely avoided investigation due to his connections to powerful Republicans. Compare that to the full-bore witch hunt by the RNC against ACORN.

Here's a more detailed story about Stroul and his malfeasance: Link

You are incapable of objective comparisons, of course, but I'm betting Sproul easily wins the corruption contest You're welcome to prove me wrong. Most people will recognize that Sproul was far worse than ACORN.

Wow. One employee? That's some major dishonest spin. It was his company, and far from not doing his job, it's exactly what he specialized in. His company history was doing the RNC's dirty work, and that's why they kept hiring him.

At the time everything pointed to one guy. My statement stands, that is hardly something to campare to what Acorn was doing. If you want to see that as me defending thier actions, go ahead.

Love the way you ignore the critical facts that it was his company, and that is what his company specialized in, so you could instead nitpick whether it was one "employee" or two. Intellectual dishonesty, thy name is Matt1970.

Can you not read you stupid twit, or are you just a shameless liar? Can you understand math and proportions, or is guzzling RNC propaganda the limit of your talents? ACORN had 500,000 employees. How many did Sproul have? What's the ratio between them? What percentage of ACORN employees were charged compared to Sproul's? Are you man enough to address any of these questions, or are you just going to deflect and DUHvert as always?

Edit: As you said in another thread:
You still have the balls to show yourself after you couldn't even answer one question? You are such a fraud.
Hypocrite much?

Thanks for proving that you are a lying troll...you are defending him again, right now, just like you did in the previous thread.

So now you have admitted you did (and still are) defending him, I expect an apology since you have admitted you were wrong.

Once again, known ignorant troll refuses to accept facts. In fact, Sproul's case is worse. ACORN employees were creating clearly fake names in the hopes they wouldn't lose their jobs. Sproul's employees claim they were told to not register Democrats, which is both harder to tell, and much sleazier.

One group of employees did it to save their jobs, one group allegedly was told to ignore democrats. Sounds like a big difference to me. But hey, guess it is OK to you.

LOL, just hand wave away all the other sleazy and shady dealing SProul has done, and also hand wave away the fact he has a long history of doing the GOP dirty work (and getting caught doing it as well).

If you want to discriminate against blacks and minorities, why not man up and just say it? You clearly support all the GOP goals to make it hard for minorities to vote, stop beating around the bush and admit it.

That's not defending him, that’s called putting things into perspective. Saying someone committing bank robbery is not on the same level as committing murder is not defending bank robbery. Pull your head out of your ass and you will see that.

There are tons of people out there for both sides trying to get people registered. The vast majority of the problems have been with Acorn.

first 1/2 of the article quoted.

In my opinion he should have to pay the guy more. It's been a few years and it's highly probable that the unwarranted firing hurt his search for employment afterwards.

I honestly haven't followed any of this, but on the face of it: using "you taped me doing illegal shit without my consent, so now you're doing illegal shit and therefore what I did doesn't matter" is a weak defense at best...

Yes, though you're doing it backwards. You're excusing the murderer as being not nearly so bad as a shoplifter.

You're swallowing the propaganda too. What illegal acts did the taped ACORN people commit? Be specific.

How many people in the financial sector were convicted of fraud in relation to the economic crisis? Oh man, I guess no one did anything wrong and we in fact didn't even have an economic crisis.

You realize the reason most of those convictions even happened for ACORN is that they self reported the violations of their employees.
